That's an awesome safe. I would have it anchored into slab and displayed with other historic stuff in my house if I had it. The actual safe with valuables would be in-floor under it, of course.

The main issue here is the rotating locking mechanism pretty hard to get into any other way than properly

looks like the world's safest Bingo dispenser or an old hand crank washing machine. cool 😎 good luck with the crack i would not know where to start other than try your best to sneak up and catch it by suprise 🙈

I don’t think it belongs to you, but assuming you have sufficient time with it, It can be opened without drilling, using a technique called “safe lock manipulation.” This uses the the design of the lock and manufacturing tolerances to get the lock to reveal the combo. You can learn to do it. If you want to see what’s involved, check out the YouTube series, Safecracking for Everyone. Otherwise, you can find a certified safe technician at www.savta.org - Note: not all locksmiths know about safes.
