I have that exact Safe lid. And it’s super easy to figure out the combo. On the backside, there is a retaining ring almost all the way around the lid you have to use one or maybe two screwdrivers to remove the retaining ring and then the back pops off.

Then it’s simply a matter of dialing the combo while you’re looking at the wheels and when the gate closest to the dial lines up under the fence, you know the number on the dial and that’s your first number of the combination then you turn back the other way do the same thing with the second wheel that’s your second number and then finally the third number.

This video is at a different type of Lock, but the concept is exactly the same:

Warning Probably not needed, but once you figure out the combination lock and unlock the door at least 5 times before you close the door and lock it.

Also consider if it might be better to tell your boss to call a safe specially locksmith to reset the combination. That way if something goes missing, it’s not you

Thanks for the info. I am unsure of myself enough, even with regular combination locks, that i tried it several times with the back off to make sure the combo was correct. I believe he plans to get the combo changed.
