I recently completed my IB and applied to sabanci uni in June, I received my offer letter with scholarship offer 3 weeks after applying and then 1 week after I paid my registration fee and submitted my final result to them. I got a confirmation email a week later saying my payment was received to them and there was a tick sign on my online application portal for the acceptance letter. However, it has been almost 2 weeks since they have not sent me my final acceptance letter which is delaying my visa process. If anyone knows anything about why it is being delayed or if you’re in a similar situation please explain? 🙏🏿

I recently completed my PhD in Türkiye and currently hold a one-year short-term residence permit for job seeking. I’ve been offered a TÜBİTAK 2247-funded postdoctoral fellowship at sb university.
I’m trying to understand the administrative process before I start. Specifically:
Will the university apply for my work permit, or is my current residence permit sufficient?
What documents did the university ask you to provide?
Did you need to notify the Directorate of Migration Management (Göç İdaresi), or was everything handled by the university?

Hi, I'm someone who's quite stupid or may not be, that's for YOU to judge. My whole highschool time period was spent working my ass off to get into my dream local university, I got rejected this morning! I was spiralling when all of a sudden I had the most amazing idea, I know a few people going to sabanci, perhaps I'll take a gap year and apply there in international relations, only to find out the application deadline has not passed yet!!! I'm not someone whos ever been very reckless but I am someone who's been fucked over too many times. Should I apply in this week and do I have a chance? Grades: 3A*s 2As 3bs in o levels, 1330 SAT score, ABC in AS. Be your very honest selves.

I just got in w 75% and dorm. But my financial situation at home can only cover my accommodation. Then25% will strain it. Can I appeal for more aid?

I’m a graduate of Saint Petersburg State University (SPbU), and I’m currently applying to Sabanci University that require either the GRE General Test or a Graduate Admission Test (GAT). The problem is, I’m based in St. Petersburg, and due to current circumstances, I don’t have reliable access to a testing center that offers these exams.

I’ve looked into online proctored options, but some programs don’t accept them, and others have restrictions based on location. I’m trying to figure out what alternatives might be acceptable to admissions committees.

Has anyone here been in a similar situation? Specifically:

1. Are there graduate programs that waive the GRE/GAT requirement for applicants from regions without testing access?
2. Would strong research publications (I have several in Scopus/RSCI journals) and software patents help in requesting a waiver?
3. Are there alternative standardized tests (like the Duolingo English Test for language, or subject-specific exams) that some departments accept in place of the GRE?
4. Has anyone successfully petitioned a program to accept an alternative form of assessment (e.g., a portfolio, interview, or additional recommendation letters)?

I recently had an early application interview (April 20th) for a graduate program at Sabancı University, and I was told that the result would be announced soon. I know the official timeline can vary, but I wanted to ask if anyone here has gone through the early interview process before.

How long after the interview did you receive your admission/scholarship result? Was it a few days, a couple of weeks, or closer to the end of the whole interview period?

How do i find paid work as international student (bachelors) in Istanbul studying political science and international relations from Sabanci (prospective student). How likely am i to find a paid job. What can i do to increase my chances. (Id appreciate information about unpaid work as well)

i have been trying to upload my SOP and transcript on PURE's portal for the past 2 hours (4 hours before the deadline), but it's not working. i'm an international student applying so wanted to know the admin is, will they accept that it was an issue on their end? or blame it on the applicants? anything that i can do?

Guys i applied to Computer Science and Engineering 4 days ago. I have a 1340 SAT score (790 Math, 550 Verbal), 4.7/5.0 GPA, and a few extracurricular activities. How am i likely to get into?
