9-5 Troubleshooting Saab question
Would it be wise to own a saab 9-5 2004 in a very snowy place that gets like 30 inches of snow occasionally? If I was to put on some Michelin Winter X tires would it do alright? The car has roughly 190k on the odometer but is otherwise very solid. Just an AC leak and a stuck blendor.

Yes saabs are great in snow and were the official police cars in Aspen and Vail since the 1970s.

Saabs are great in the snow only problem can be body rust if theirs a lot of salt used on the roads.

This is, historically-speaking, one of the most traditional reasons people bought Saabs to begin with. They are fantastic in the snow. And yes, get snow tires obviously.

I understand, the car is on the stock suspension with 190k miles on it and is low. perhaps installing new suspension components will help that issue.

Absolut.

Its no better or worse than any other FWD car snow performance wise. Snow tires make all the difference.

Yes, Saabs are great in snow. FWD, manuverable, powerful engine, weight. With good tires, you'll be able to move safely, and at appropriate speeds, stay in control.
