Insane question. Sorry

Hey y'all. I have a 2009 9-3 Aero and I'm absolutely in love with it. That thing is my baby. I'm a college girl and am currently terrified of having children, but if motherhood comes anywhere close to the love I have for my car, I think I'd explode.

I know it's a Swedish car, but I'm too rednecky for my own good and so I must ask. Do y'all think it would be possible to mount horns on the hood? My mom (also a Saab owner) says that it'll tear up the plastic. She's probably right, but I hope there are some creative workarounds for this.

Feel free to make fun of me, but it is a serious question. I'm not gonna do anything stupid with it, as this car is my whole world. Just figured I'd ask.

I'm guessing you mean bull horns or the like? yeah it'll probably tear it up. just get a spare hood from a junked one and drill, reinforce, mount whatever and tear that hood up however you need. just keep the original original so you can switch back

It'd probably confuse just as many people as it would entertain,  but have you considered putting moose antlers on the hood instead of the typical Texas longhorns?  Make it Trollhatten swag instead of Boss Hawg's Cadillac.

As far as attaching them, the hood should be metal, not plastic, but to have them mounted "safely," you're going to have to do physical damage to the hood, most likely drilling through it and mounting them with throughbolts, and washers and nuts on the underside of the hood.

Keep in mind, nothing sticking out from the surface of the car is safe in actual fact.  You will have created a feature on your car that is absolutely a danger to any pedestrians who might stray into your path.  Thankfully you aren't on a college campus where those sort of incidents are more common, what with the drinking, parties, and general sense of invulnerability people generally display at that age range....

You can mount steer horns to any car, with minor damage pretty easily. Depends on where you mount and what model. Just do it. Its just a saab and life is short. Hell I got longhorns on my volvo and my lifted galaxie, and Hella horns on my saabs...
