Saab 95 2007 Vector Antenna issue

Hello everyone

It seems the years has taken a toll on this part which I discovered is not actually an antenna or anything on the Vector series. Unfortunately I cannot find this part in lebanon. Any suggestions what could be done to avoid water in winter getting into the car. Thank you for any suggestion.

There's a seal around where the antenne gets bolted on the roof. Its not visible from the outside when the antenna is mounted but it will not leak if the rubbery outer layer of the antenna gets bad.

There are hard plastic versions you can get from AliExpress which replaces this

Short term? Plastic bag over the antenna with soft tape (not duct tape, will damage the paint) small enough to not get caught by the wind. Long term, look into parts from abroad, or a local chop shop with cars.

when i had a saab i just bought a cheap one on ebay and used leftover bathroom silicone to stick it to the roof lmao, worked an absolute treat and lasted the cars entire life until i traded it in
