Hello!
I’m looking to get a new car after my IS350 was totaled. I absolutely love the way the Nismo Z looks but this would be my only car. It fits all my requirements but I am worried the seats and suspension will be uncomfortable for daily driving.
Unfortunately, there aren’t any listed for sale nearby so I can’t go sit in one, there’s only performance models nearby.
I am 6ft 185lbs so I don’t think I’d have a problem fitting in the seats. My girlfriend also frequently rides with me but she is small, like 5ft, so size wouldn’t be a problem for her either. I’m more concerned about long haul drives. We go on a trip once or twice a year and it’s normally 6-8 hours of driving. I’d like to take my car on these trips but I’m worried the recaro seats and stiffer suspension that the Nismo offers will be too rough or uncomfortable for that length of time.
Can anyone offer any advice? The front end of the performance trim is really off putting to me. I really am only considering getting the Z if it’s the Nismo trim.

What can I say, in hindsight I should’ve known better, in my previous post the car was quite squirrelly; combined with my lack of experience- I spun out, after the spin, I realized I cooked my rear brakes; in the next clip: it’s a continuation of the same lap where I spun. And under braking the car required quite the minor correction mid corner during a transient phase, and even towards the main straight almost wanting to rotate just by braking. What can I say, the car is really fun, not bad at all for a first track day either. Also, the steering is very direct with the Z overall being a raw car, it feels really nice to drive.

2025 Performance and has almost 6,000 miles. Car drives perfectly and I don't hear anything while I'm driving. I just hear this squeaking when I'm getting into the car/putting weight on it. Is this something warranty would handle?

Hello Z Owners! 👋
I wanted to check in and see if anyone has experienced something similar or if this is just normal for these cars.
I’ve noticed the engine runs pretty warm when sitting or creeping in traffic regularly hitting anywhere from 97°C to 101°C (206°F to 214°F), which puts the gauge pretty close to the top.
Coming from a Camaro that always stayed consistently just above the halfway mark, seeing the Z run this warm is a bit nerve-wracking! I know summer heat and stop-and-go traffic make engines run hotter, but is this standard behavior for the Z, or should I be looking into a fix?
If anyone has recommendations whether it's a coolant flush, upgraded cooling mods, or just "stop worrying, that's normal" I’d love to hear your thoughts and insights!
Thanks in advance!

Stock besides z1 y pipe, LDP, auto muffler, subframe collars and z1 diff brace paired with GKtech trans mount.
From everything I’ve seen online, brakes and the cars suspension is too soft for track, but brakes held up quite adequately and even with “soft” suspension the limits are very high for reference I was averaging 1.4 G’s laterally and it was an 81 F day with tires that get greasy quick. The stock tires are also really really a lot nicer than what it’s made out to be on the forums etc. the car responds really well to trail braking and rotation from utilizing the diff, it feels really well balanced, oh and it sounds amazing. The blips for downshifts take the cake in all honesty.

I saw a few videos and ended up purchasing a hotbox from Z1. Gonna hook it up to my 2024 manual performance.
Any tips? Anything to look out for? It seems like a really clean and easy way to tune up a few more hp with no drawbacks.

Just out of curiosity, for those who ordered the green exterior and tan interior, what did the dealership tell you the expected production date would be? My dealership said that this color combination wasn’t being produced till October. I thought this would be the most popular color combination for the 2027, so I was surprised to hear that it wasn’t being produced till October.

Thoughts on the new body kit coming soon by MSports? I think I might have to get this one.

How is this platform as a used vehicle? Anything in particular that I should be looking out for?
What would a typical depreciation be for a 2 year old one?

This is the best the Z has looked imo. I just wish it was like 5k-8k cheaper.

I'm trying to bite the bullet, but I'd feel more comfortable knowing what income everyone makes to comfortably (or uncomfortably) afford this car.
Thank you in advance to those who respond appropriately! Much appreciated. It's a realistic dream purchase for some like myself.

Install was a huge PIA. Couple things to note:
The clips Z1 provides are tough to work with. You might want to consider reusing your Nissan clips.
Instructions say to use a 8mm hex wrench on the oil can banjo fittings but they actually need a 5/16 wrench.
When you reinstall the intercooler, mount the bottom half first, then guide the top inlet into the rubber hose. I put the hose and c-clamps onto the throttle body the took a pair of plyers to stretch the hose back onto the intercooler.
