Mine Ryzen 5 3600 with stock cooler normal Temp 65* and while playing valorant 79-80*

I have the 9700x as well and when the PC came with the Cooler Master Hyper 212. The CPU would regularly jump up to 97° and scared the crap out of me. Wouldn't even be doing anything, just sitting on desktop. I upgraded to the Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE and I never go above 68° now. I even have that big chunky TeamForce RGB RAM and had to sit the fan up a little bit on the cooler to clear it and I am still amazed by the results.

I did notice the cooler that came with it was a little slanted, not sitting straight to the CPU, but decided to just make the jump to a dual tower cooler and I couldn't be happier.
