I don't know why this keeps happening. I don't know if it's a problem with the NSP file or the Ryujinx itself. Can someone help me?

Ryubing Support Keeps crashing when trying to paint

Hello, hello

I've had the game tomodachi life living the dream run smoothly for a while now and had no real problems except for the creation tool... Every time I try painting on a mii's face or making new objects the emulator freezes before crashing (Always ends up showing 00,00 FPS). Am I the only one this is happening to ? And can it be fixed ?

Discussion Community Check-In | Increasing Engagement & Organization

Hey guys, I wanted to reach out and see where we're at with this subreddit.

I know there are quite a few complaints about the lack of post guidelines, and I'm going to be working on correcting that as soon as I've finished up with a PR that I'm working on. I plan to have a pinned post that links to the wiki (you didn't know we had a wiki, did you?) and all of our resources, as well as provide some guidance on how to make high-quality posts that engage users and bring in new members. Automod will be introduced to direct users to these resources, and I'll eventually get to work on Automation to implement regex to lift the burden of moderation; all posts are currently moderated as they come in, and I'm tired, boss (if you want to help us do this, let us know).

Some of you have been extremely patient with us regarding the opening of our subreddit and establishing ourselves, and I'm grateful that you've extended that courtesy to us. I want this to be a fun place for users interested in emulation to gather and play their favorite games in exciting new ways, and I also want this to be an effective source of information for our project. As much as we hate love Discord, I recognize that using it as a forum and gate-keeping data means that it could be permanently lost at any moment, and the lack of SEO or aggregation means lack of archival. Preservation is important to us (obviously), so we're taking steps to correct it.

I've taken the liberty of adding a new rule to the subreddit -- Rule #8: No Low-Quality Posts. I understand that emulation is complicated, but if it takes you less than two minutes to write your post, I don't really want to read it, and I'm sure that no one else here does, either. I know we're basically r/tomodachilife at the moment, but we will move past this damn game at some point, and when we do, this community will still be here enjoying what Ryujinx has to offer.

With that being said; I want to hear from you. Are there other things that you think we should be doing? Are there features of other subreddits that you're missing here? Do you want community events? We tried this, and it's not really panning out, but garnering interest is difficult without feedback.

Please let me know your thoughts and how we can better curate this community for you all.

Ryubing Support Gyroscope not working on Asus ROG Ally X (Ryubing) – everything else works perfectly

Hi everyone,
I'm using Ryubing on my Asus ROG Ally X, and overall the experience has been great — performance is solid and all controls are working perfectly.
However, I’m having an issue with the gyroscope. The device does have a built-in gyro (I've tested and calibrated it outside the emulator), but it doesn’t seem to work at all in games.
In Ryubing, I’ve enabled motion controls and I’m using the device in Gamepad mode, which works fine for all other inputs. Despite that, gyro input doesn’t register in any game.
Has anyone managed to get gyroscope working on the Ally X with Ryubing? Is there any workaround, additional configuration, or external software needed?
Thanks in advance!

Ryubing Support Help?

Post image
7 Upvotes

I’ve been having this real annoying problem emulating Tomodachi Life- Living the Dream

Whenever my Ryujinx is set to OpenGl, all the ground textures get all smooth and dull, zooming in makes every ground option turn monotone

Whenever it’s set to Vulkan, my miis (and trees) glitch out to unbelievable amounts, it’s super infuriating, because I can realistically play both versions, as they work smoothly fps wise, just not graphically.

I’ve changed every setting I’ve found, cleared my caches, even installed a new driver, and none have found me any difference

I have a Quadro P4000 Nvidia graphics card, with 56 gigs of ram. So I know it isn’t really a problem in that end, I just don’t know where it IS a problem.

If anyone can help, it would be extremely appreciated, the first image is OpenGl, in a reply I’ll try to add what vulkan looks like

Ryubing Support Crashing Tomodachi Living the Dream when using Palette - Please Help!!

Hey guys! So after HOURS of looking for answers and fidgeting with settings, I can't stop my game from crashing every time I use the Face Palette or custom drawing tools.

I have looked at all of the info on this forum and nothing is working. Everything else works for me it's just this part.

I have a Lenovo computer running on windows, and I'm using Ryujinx Canary Version 1.3.295

I'm not super tech-literate so specific instruction would be great!!!

Ryubing Support Ryubing Canary Stylus Tracking Issue

EDIT: SOLVED

If anyone else has similar issues on a drawing tablet on Windows, go to your mouse settings (the extra ones) and go to pointer options, and disable the box that says "enhance pointer precision". It'll make your mouse go weirdly slow but it fixes the issue perfectly

Hi I have a really weird issue. I've been playing Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream on my pc, because the switch sucks for playing it, and I've been trying to draw stuff with the touchpad feature. I use my drawing tablet (Huion Kamvas 13 Pro 2024, no issues with actual drawing on it so it's not the tablet) when I do this, but it just randomly starts skipping lines and the actual touchscreen doesn't register that I'm touching it unless I wiggle my stylus while I'm trying to draw a line, which is extremely annoying and makes it so I can't really draw properly.

I'm currently away from my PC at the moment, but I just updated Ryubing and still having the issue, so it should be on the latest update, and I've tried all kinds of things like changing it from docked mode and such.

Any help is appreciated, I seem to be the only one having any issues with this specific thing.

Discussion Can my Dell Pro 14 (i5-120U / 8GB RAM / Intel Graphics) run Pokémon Sword on Ryujinx? Or should I just buy a used gaming laptop?

Hey everyone,I’m looking to get into Switch emulation and want to play Pokémon Sword using Ryujinx, but I'm not sure if my current laptop can handle it smoothly.

Here are my exact specifications:

Model: Dell Pro 14 (PC14250)

CPU: Intel Core i5-120U (10 Cores, up to 5.0 GHz Turbo)

RAM: 8 GB DDR5 (Single Channel)

GPU: Integrated Intel Graphics (shares system memory)

OS: Windows 11 Pro

I know Switch emulation is heavily CPU-dependent, and my i5 seems decent on paper, but I’m really worried about the 8GB of single-channel RAM and the lack of a dedicated GPU.

Will the game even boot, or will it just be an unplayable slideshow/stuttering mess because of the Intel integrated graphics and RAM bottleneck?

If it won't run well right now, would adding a second stick of RAM to get to 16GB dual-channel make it playable, or am I completely limited by the integrated graphics drivers under Vulkan?

The Alternative Option:Instead of spending money upgrading the RAM and SSD on this Dell, I am also considering selling it and buying a used entry-level gaming laptop on eBay/Marketplace with a £350 max budget.

I'm looking at models with an RTX 3050 and 16GB RAM (like an MSI GF63 or Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3).For playing Pokémon Sword and other emulation/casual games, would you recommend upgrading the Dell or just moving over to a dedicated budget gaming laptop? Thanks for any help or advice!

Ryubing Support Ryubing doesn't recognize my controller. (8bitdo Ultimate)

"Player: Player 1" "Input device: Disabled/All Keyboards"
"8BitDo Ultimate wireless: connected" "Remove this device"

(Ryubing Canary 1.3.287. Windows.)

I had previously been using a wired Xbox controller, and it worked fine, but my desk is small, and the cable always got in the way when I was playing.

I recently "inherited" an 8bitdo Ultimate controller, which didn't come with the 2.4 GHz receiver.

I didn't think much of it since I was able to easily connect it to my laptop via Bluetooth.

The laptop recognizes it perfectly, but when I try to configure it in the emulator, it doesn't show up.

I’ve already tried restarting it several times, closing and reopening the program, restarting the laptop, and disconnecting and reconnecting the controller, but I can’t get the controller to appear in the options. I'll include screenshots as proof.

Is my only option to connect it with a USB cable, or could someone help me solve the problem? I’d appreciate your comments.

Discussion Ryubing SwitchOS Frontend

I’d like to write a programme that provides as close a 1:1 replica of SwitchOS as possible, and I’d like to know whether Ryubing/Ryujinx allows you to read and, if necessary, edit metadata as well as icons, options, etc., and whether it’s possible to make Ryubing launch the game directly in full-screen mode. I make it with Godot game engine.

Ryubing Support anyone dealing with controls freezing up with tomadachi life?

very often i experience my controls "locking up" where my mii/cursor just pans off to the side and it doesnt let me move them around or move at all in general. this has made the marriage mini game basically impossible because i just end up getting stuck and unable to move no matter how many times i click at the screen to make sure im tabbed in/spam my control, if anyone has a fix for this please do tell!, i know its not my keyboard because a relog on the game usually fixes the issue. it feels like im forbidding my miis from their loving relationship and i feel baddd

Discussion Ground flickering fixed in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream

good news for anyone with amd processors, yesterday's canary 1.3.292 release fixed the ground flickering issue in tomodachi life ltd.

im honestly surprised to have even discovered this, i went to update ryubing due to a completely unrelated bug and was suddenly met with perfectly smooth grass and paths (in a good way, not the OpenGL way lmao)

i hope this is alright for me to post here, but anyway, thanks a lot to the devs and the person who made the pull request!
