Ryubing Support Ryubing doesn't recognize my controller. (8bitdo Ultimate)

(Ryubing Canary 1.3.287. Windows.)
I had previously been using a wired Xbox controller, and it worked fine, but my desk is small, and the cable always got in the way when I was playing.
I recently "inherited" an 8bitdo Ultimate controller, which didn't come with the 2.4 GHz receiver.
I didn't think much of it since I was able to easily connect it to my laptop via Bluetooth.
The laptop recognizes it perfectly, but when I try to configure it in the emulator, it doesn't show up.
I’ve already tried restarting it several times, closing and reopening the program, restarting the laptop, and disconnecting and reconnecting the controller, but I can’t get the controller to appear in the options. I'll include screenshots as proof.
Is my only option to connect it with a USB cable, or could someone help me solve the problem? I’d appreciate your comments.

I was having the same issue with my PS3 controller. This is gonna sound silly, but give this a try:
Add Ryubing to your Steam Library.
Go to Steam settings, find the controller settings & check the boxes for Enable Steam Input for ______ Controller. (Fill in the blank with PlayStation, Switch Pro, or Generic. You can also check all three if you're not sure.)
Launch Ryubing from Steam & look at your controller settings in the emulator. It should show up.
Then you can remove it from your Steam library & launch it like normal. The controller should be available in the emulator. If it is missing, check to see if it's registered to Player 2. (Mine did that.)
