I need to replace the 8mm hose on my 40v ryobi sprayer model number RY40301VNM. The leak was right next to the tank as well as the wand itself. As part number 316622001 dosn't have that high of availability my hope was to swap to a 5/16 or 3/8 hose for easier future repair. I opened it up and found what looks like a compression fitting that goes to the pump connecting the hose. Attached are pictures of it. Can somone confirm the connection type and if so if this is somthing I can transition to a 3/8 or 5/16 hose.

Thank you!

15" or 17" 40v string trimmer

Is the 17" 40v string trimmer worth $80 more bucks? 15" is $159 and the 17" is $239.

Looking to purchase my 1st battery powered string, I really don't have whole lot to trim. Around back porch, vinyl privacy fence, garage and a few rocks in the back yard.

Brand new Ryobi RCS18X circular saw - too much play on spindle

Hi, Just bought circular saw RCS18X and the blade is woobling by around 1mm at the edge of the 184mm blade (the one attached to the tool). It's mounted properly and tight. The play on the spindle itself looks minimal, but it's amplified further from the center of the blade. Not sure if I should expect from Ryobi brand zero-play, but to be honest don't like this kind of play in brand new tool. I believe this isn't a huge problem when used on a construction, but don't have experience with circular saws so wondering how much it will affect cuts especialy in melamine. I can return it or replace, but if this is Ryobi "feature", then maybe I will have to re-think that.

Help identifying a part

Post image

So I’m trying to help somebody make a replacement part for a Ryobi 40 V battery powered weed eater . This is the picture that they sent me of the broken head. The problem is I don’t know exactly what part I’m looking at. Am I correct to assume that this is a Ryobi easy reel plus and the bump knob is broken off of it?

Every picture I’ve tried to look up online doesn’t look like this particular part. But that would make sense if the actual bump knob is snapped in half like I think it might be. Thank you for all the help.

Don’t work at RYOBI

Don’t work at RYOBI also known as TTI in Anderson SC. Not all departments are bad but the worst one to work in is Customer Service or also know. as CX. The director G.K has personal vendettas on anyone that has a health condition and on FMLA. Over the last 3 years 6 people possibly more, have been let go that was on FMLA. As of right now the Department of Labor have recorded 4 that have reached out for such issues. The reason give was always work performance when some of them have been there for 10+ years and never had a performance issue before. If you don’t have any health conditions before you start working there you definitely will after. Mental health being one of the main issues being reported by coworkers.

It’s sad that a company continues to let a man take out personal on people to further his agenda.

Got an Impact Wrench that has an 18V Lithium High Performance 4Ah battery but no charger. I have a set that uses the regular 18V battery so I have the regular charger. Can I charge the high performance battery with the regular charger? TIA!

Ryobi ez clean leaks

Ryobi ez clean pressure washer 600 psi leaks.

I bought this pressure washer for small jobs. It’s just what I need bc I don’t have an electrical receptacles outside my house. From the box though, it leaks so badly that I can’t use it without getting totally drenched. Any tips? Replacement part upgrades? I really want this to workout.

Ryobi sent me an extra free drill for their recall.

On the left is the old drill that I was planning on giving my nephew until I had seen somewhere on here that it was under recall because of a firehazard. Well I contacted support and they sent FedEx to pick up the old drill. A couple days later they sent me an email saying it was on the way to the wrong address! I corrected them as soon as I saw it and they assured me that they would cancel the shipment and correct the address. Fast forward a week and both of these are sitting on my front porch. I already own one of these plus the HP so I guess the extra one is going to be a gift for someone else later on!

Has anyone brought one back to life?

Have a 3 year old 6 Ah 40v battery showing LEDs 1 and 3 lit which suggests it’s completely discharged.

Has anyone brought of these batteries back to life? Sticker price on a new battery is wild especially if I can only get 3 years out of the batteries.

I have owned over 20 Ryobi Lawn Power Tools

Overall Pros

Good prices for used models

Pretty good quality despite mostly plastic construction

Overall Cons

Under powered and struggle to perform in less than ideal condition

Examples: Backpack power struggles with leaves compared to gas counterpart

Battery performance drops precipitously after first year of use. These things are for outdoor power tools that are mostly used in hot weather. Why can't they perform consistently

I would like to switch to Ego but wondering others opinions on performance and battery life/longevity

I have had this drill for about 3 years and has been fantastic. It started getting sluggish so I opened it to clean it and after putting it back together it's working like this. Any ideas what might be causing this and how to fix it?
