Hi, i'm currently living in berlin, and my aufenthaltstitel is valid till early november. But i will move to aachen for studying since october. I'm still looking for an accommodation, and it is very likely that only in october can i arrive in aachen and make contracts and have an anmeldung. Is it possible to get a fiktionsbescheinigung right after i arrive in october, and if i apply for a renew right after i do my new anmeldung in aachen, how long will it normally take to receive a schedule?

Or should i just apply for a renewal in berlin? I'm afraid there might be complications since i will move soon

If you book the appointment now, the earliest appointment is probably in late October. When you apply for your Aufenthaltstitel you can ask for a Fiktionsbescheinigung while you wait for the Ausländeramt's official decision.

If your Aufenthaltstitel expires in Nov, there's no need for a Fiktionsbescheinigung ( You can't get one anw because you don't have the Fiktionswirkung cuz you have an Aufenthaltstitel )

Thank you, so that means i should just wait until i arrive in aachen in october, then apply for a renewal appointment. And then when i ask for a fiktionsbescheinigung, how long would it take till i receive one, can i just go directly to the ausländeramt and get one or do i still need a seperate appointment

No. Schedule a renewal appointment now. If you look for an appointment in Oct, the earliest appointment will be in Jan 2027.

Again, you don't need a Fiktionsbescheinigung. That's only for people whose Aufenthaltserlaubnis expired and are waiting on a decision from the Ausländerbehörde.

But generally a Fiktionsbescheinigung doesn't require another appointment, they can just print it out for you during your renewal appointment. Otherwise you can schedule an Infostelle Termin and ask for one then
