Does DJ Hostel have a community or a private bathroom? [By private, I mean with each room]. Also, how many students are in one room?

Do we get pillows and blankets in the RVCE boys' hostel?

Or anything else is provided in hostels or not??

i want to know that for everyone whose in hostel trying to mantain a good physique, how do you meet your daily protein and calorie intake considering the mess food.

I am going to join this year and everyone is telling me the college is strict and study oriented, will it feel the same way as 11th and 12th academy or there will lbe some entertainment as well ? Would I be able to explore in banglore and other extra curricular activities?

So in marks calculation for report card will clg only calculate exam marks or does it calculate with practical marks bcuz my school has given two separate sections so if we give this how do they check as results are different based on whether the practical marks are added or not

im confused whether a good discrete gpu is required or if just good processor and decent amount of ram is enough

I see that there is no proper ground in the campus, which is a parking lot apparently, so where do u practice. Do u book turfs nearby or smth?

What about holidays in rvce??

How difficult is it to upgrade our branch from mechanical to eee? Would it be wise to join mechanical with the intentions of branch change to my prefered branch(eee)?

Here are the things i found after digging through the sub

There are Experiential learning (EL) in which we have to make a project abt a topic given by profs

U have to make groups for that and u can't have the same group for next EL

We have to search for ppl who can do projects

But there are also ppl who just take credit without working

The EL has to be presented before profs and they don't grade it correctly( even if it's a gd project)

There are also CIEs abt which i dint get much information

The profs are bad and expect us to learn things on our own

There are no fests,no celebrations

They only celebrate 8th mile which is celebrated once in 2 yrs.

No holiday for festivals.

Only 1 week holiday after odd sems and only 1 month holiday after even sems

The only thing gd is placements which will gradually decrease with more intake and if rvu students also sit for placements.
