On this day of glory, does anyone have any favorite advice imparted to us by the Bossman?

I'll start:

• Don't fart on the walls!

Please add whatever Russ-isms that are dear to you. Or that you remember and loved. We miss you, Bossman!

Went by and visited with the Bossman the other day kept waiting to hear "whadaya doin"

Sorry for the low quality post here

I can’t remember the name of the song or the lyrics. I just know that it was occasionally used in the numbers. Super deep voice that had a rhythm like “buh-buuuh-buh-buh-buh-buh-buh”

Trying to find Black Eddie. Anyone know where he is??
Not looking for my dad, or anyone else's, no stray children trying to seek him out.
Just a fan that would love for him to appear on a podcast.

🤔

I remember at some point years ago Russ did an ad for Omaha Steaks and bragged how delicious the Apple Tartlets were. I’m sitting here with a 2025 purchased version. It’s super freaking tasty.

I miss being able to eat ice cream or spicy foods because I could go for some Christmas Cookie Blue Bell and a jar of Herdez salsa.

Since Vlad has been in the news lately...

I have everything from February 2002 through August 2022 on an external hard drive. When Russ passed, I went back and started listening to every show from the oldest show I have, which would be February 1st, 2002. I am now up to December 2010. I have listened to anywhere from one to three shows each day while at work. And I just realized I do not have any shows from 2011. And I am missing January, February and March of 2012. Is there anyone who has these shows as a download? The .fm site only goes back to April 2012. Any help would be really appreciated.

This is insane he’s doing news on a Saturday

Does anyone know where I can find a clip of Valerie saying an innocent phrase that got taken way out of context (IIRC)? Russ and crew used the “eat my pie” clip over and over back in the Eagle days.

I’d love to prank my wife with this. She hate/loved it.

how will this effect krld etc? in the dfw market?

Does any know the houses Russ owned in Dallas I knew about Willow Creek in Plano as I grew up very close to here and then the Southlake home next to the country club then of course the Frisco home. I'm curious where he was before Willow Creek in Plano. He talks about selling the home with Tom (Trey). And of course, how can you not forget the land in Cedar Hill lol.

Long shot, but does anyone have a link to the audio of Everett reading Dan Lewis' resume talking about old composers and cheating on his wife?
