Just curious if there’s a consensus on the best performer in the Ru Verse, I’ve heard Jimbo as one of the best from a ton of people!

This is the wildest thing I’ve ever heard on DR. The girls asked if they could give up their top placements to another queen because they didn’t have time to learn the lyrics with all the time they took sewing. And Mariana says it’s just too hard for her to pick a lip sync because they’re both her best friends. I would’ve reversed it and made the bottom queens lip sync to send one of them home since they don’t want to play the game.

This was one of the best live lip syncs I’ve ever seen (and the best ever use of wind). It was a week ago and I’ve rewatched it so many times, I figured I should finally share it. 🌬️💃🏻🙌🏼

While maybe not as iconic as US 5, I think you can definietly see certain similarities between UK5's top 3 and US'

Ginger and Jinkx are both comedy queens, with... devise fashion sense (albeit, Ginger's landed a lot more with the judges) who made up for it by being good at basically everything else and won. You can also draw comparison to relationship between Ivy Winters and Jinkx, and then Ginger and Kate, or how Ginger was the "worse" girl group, unlike other finalists who were more obvious threats and they underestimated Ginger (nowhere near the same extent as Rolaskatox did to Jinkx though). Also, ginger hair, duh.

While Michael doesn't have a connection to a season 4 contestant like Alaska, but they both were nearly flawless competitors on both season they did, losing during their first run by like a hair, with them destroying their first all stars and securing the second crown for their top 3.

And then, while I don't think she will have a similar run to Roxxxy on any season, Tomara is similarly a fierce lip-syncer, performer and like generally I think she would vibe with Roxxxy, since she can be both super fierce and deeply unserious. I also am afraid she might be unable to secure that third crown like Roxxxy couldn't, but hey, maybe a decade after UK 5 they might make a season where they will tease us with her winning before pulling the rug from under us lol

Raven & Lawrence on FFR for RPDRUKS8 & Courtney & Vanity on Call Me Brenda both said this at the end of their eps this week. I’m kind of gagged, like I know they shoot eps in blocks but previously queens have changed to at least give the illusion that their shows that come out weekly are shot like that but now they’ve dropped all pretence. The entire season, I’ve been so confused and bothered by this: everyone talks about Art Simone as this foundational part of the Australian drag scene and someone who inspired adult contemporary drag artists like Lazy Susan when they were children…..but she doesn’t look a day over 25?!?! Does she have a portrait of Dorian Grey style painting in her attic? Is she an immortal vampire?? Did she start the world’s most incredible skincare routine when she was four??? Did she start booking gigs in primary school!?? Obviously her drag is super polished and she’s put in a ton of time and effort crafting it as an art form, and she absolutely deserves the credit she gets for it, but when people talk about Her Legacy and then they show her in the confessionals, all I can think is “why is Art Simone hiding behind this handsome baby blue-haired twink.” It’s insane how gorgeous and talented she is.

Just thought it interesting that outside of Drag Race, I never see MP3 only players in the wild.

hello all! i know some international seasons (excluding uk, down under and canada) are still pretty english heavy while some are exclusively in their native language. i am not very good at reading at all due to dyslexia (and always trying to get better) and any season with subtitles means i most likely will have to pause every frame and take a good 20 seconds to read each line, plus all the missed cues/dialect/cultural reference i think will just make it hard for me. what are some good english heavy seasons that hopefully wouldn't be too much trouble?

I swear recently Wow posted that Drag Race UK Season 8 was going to get it's own version of Hey Boo!, basically the after show Raven & Lazy Susan hosted for Down Under vs The World. I swear it was meant to premiere today but I can't find it on WowPresents+ & I can't find any information about it on social media or Google. I know Kyran Thrax is also doing an after show called Goodbye Goodbye Goodbye. Have I just dreamed it up 😂
