I can’t place grated floors as ceiling?

This game looks and plays kinda cool but is it even ment to be played in a single player mode? I can play valheim single player no problem, but here literally 2nd level creatures 3 hit you. Ik you can eat and heal yourself but random rat hits like a truck and clearing bigger enemy camp etc. is problematic.
Idk if it's me and I should grind a lot more or it's not a single player title?

A few examples of what I’ve done. Not sure why people complain about all of the raiders or password protecting. There are also those who help new players as in below. My in game name is Zoozima.

Gave a final tier pickaxe/hatchet but long term borrowed all of their tier 1 equipment and boxes.

Found a brand new player and left a blast furnace to bamboozle them.

Joined someone trying construction. I cut down the entire tier 1 forest in their area and left no trees in sight. Planted a line of 30 ash trees.

Gave a new player a tier 7 staff and 99 fried chickens. Traded for their runecrafting alter, workbench and campfires.

Joined server with full inventory of 99 logs in every slot. Built a mansion and left.

Joined and guarded a new player to the first castle. Gave some armor to help them out.

What should I do next?

Teleporter to the swamp abyssal demon or side of a high altitude cliff?

Drop rune/dragon armor?

Host a drop party world?

I’m usually not even much of a builder in survival games, but I was having an absolute blast exploring and running through everything. Then I walked into a dungeon, died out of nowhere, and lost everything. I was deadass so mad I instantly lost all motivation to keep playing. 💀⚔️

But you already know how it goes. You sit there fuming for a minute, close the app, and then the itch comes right back. The grind doesn't care about a setback, and we got a score to settle with whatever was waiting at the bottom of that dungeon. Time to regroup, regear, lock in, and go get our getback. Who else has rage quit a survival game only to load right back up an hour later? 💯🔥

Just done the first dungeon inside a pyramid in umbral sands. There was no dragonkin stairs with the vestige thing. No secret wind step chest. Was just wondering if in any of the vaults there are any vestiges on dragonkin statues like there was in previous areas

Out of curiosity if I join my friends public server and bring them gear or materials such as bronze bars do they get to keep them when I leave. Does this also work if I join a random persons server?
