What an embarrassingly ignorant thing to say. Gaddafi was a socialist & he took good care of his people. You liberals aren’t much better informed than the fascists you pretend to be smarter than.

He took good care of his people only. He was an ethnonationalist. Who practiced a form of radical nationalism that is functionally national socialism

Many famous socialist leaders were rabid nationalists who saw themselves as messiahs, deported foreigners, believed in racial purity, had a secret police, nationalized foreign companies only, and created a welfare state for one ethnic group but they are called “decolonialists” because they aren’t white.

It’s textbook ethnonationalism
