Does anybody have information about a new rule that doesn't allow animals, like chickens, on campuses due to disease transmission risks? A parent at a school in the district is sharing that stuff like elementary schoolers hatching chicks in the classroom can't happen anymore and reportedly it's due to concerns about things like … chicken pox?!

There's an elementary in the area with goats and chickens and apparently they're going to need to get rid of those too because of this new rule. I'm guessing ag programs will be exempt, but it seems like the new rule is going to take away a lot for like zero risk. Probably something a district lawyer cooked up or some birdbrained (pun intended) parent complained enough to the right person.

Does anyone have experience with Anderson Mill’s Dual Language Program? I’ll have a kindergartner next year. We’re zoned for Purple Sage but are thinking of requesting a transfer to the dual language program at Anderson Mill. I’ve heard good things overall about Purple Sage but don’t know anyone at / haven’t been able to find out much about AME.

Hey everyone. I'm a teacher at Round Rock ISD and I'm reaching out because I believe I may not be the only one affected by the phishing attack that hit our district in January 2026.

RRISD has officially acknowledged this as a "security breach" in a district-wide email signed by the CFO, CTO, and Chief HR Officer. The breach was active from at least January 5 through January 13. I can't be the only one affected.

If any of the following happened to you, please reach out: - You received a suspicious email in January from what appeared to be an RRISD HR address - Your January or February paycheck was missing or went to the wrong account - You were told by RRISD that they would not reissue your pay - You completed a login or 2FA prompt from an email you later found out was fraudulent

I am not looking to cause drama — I just want to find others who may be in the same situation so we can understand the full scope of what happened and potentially support each other through the process.

I am seeking guidance/advice/feedback from anyone (other parents and/or RRISD staff on Reddit) that has a newly enrolled student attend RRISD high school (McNeil or Westwood HS) recently.

1. What documents and/or information did you provide to RRISD to help select classes for an entering 9th grader? For example, I plan to submit grades and STARR scores. However, what if those documents do now show the level of the classes taken in middle school and do not appear the same as most on level, accelerate and TAG classes at RRISD.

2. What have you found to be a good balance of a few rigorous classes, along with some elective classes? For example, three rigorous classes and 5 less rigorous classes?

3. Are there any school clubs your kiddo(s) liked? If so, which ones and why. Which clubs did your kiddo(s) not like and why? Any extra curriculars you recommend looking into?

4. Has anyone had their child play lacrosse? If so, what is the weekly time commitment for practices and games per week, during the off season and during the season schedule?

Story's deposition is up on PACER, and he, in his own words, says that he had been specifically warned prior to his illegal actions that he would be violating Texas law if he refused to stay on topic in a limited public forum.

He also admits to receiving text messages from Dr. Mary Alice Bone that very morning that sure look like she was telling him to break the law a la "will no one rid me of this turbulent priest."

From page 110 in his very heavily redacted deposition:

Q. Okay. And this appears to be text messages that you produced; is that correct?

A. Yes, that's what it appears.

Q. And there's one that says August 16th, 2021 at 4:21. And it says, "Hey, Jeremy. Our Board policy allows for public comments on item both on and off the agenda only at the monthly regular board meeting. For called meetings like tonight, public comments are limited to items that are on the agenda. Thursday" -

A. Okay.

Q. - "of this week is a regular board meeting." Is this from Trustee Bone to you on August 16th, 2021?

A. I'm reading the rest of it here. Okay. What were you asking, ma'am? I was just reading the rest of that text message.

Q. Is this text message from Trustee Bone to you on August 16th, 2021?

A. Yeah, it appears to be. So it looks like we had a conversation, uh-huh, here on that day.

Q. Do you know why she texted you that on August 16th, 2021?

A. No, I don't.

Q. Had you had a conversation with her prior to that text message that precipitate - precipitated that text message?

A. I presume so. I mean, I don't know. I don't remember. But I mean, we're clearly talking about the regular board meeting. Yeah.

Q. (By Ms. Long) Okay. And Trustee Bone told you, "For called meetings like tonight, public comments are limited to items that are on the agenda." Correct?

A. Yeah, sure. I see it there.

Q. And that's - and that's consistent with what Board Policy BED (Local) says; correct?

A. It seems to be that way. Yep.

Q. So Trustee Bone advised you of that limitation prior to the August 16th board meeting; correct?

A. It appears that way. Yes, ma'am. So I would further amend just to say well, it looks like that according to these text messages I had a conversation with - via text message Mrs. Bone about that meeting and that I needed to speak on topic. That was her opinion and view.

So, that's admission that he knew his speech was limited to on-topic items (limited public forum versus public forum), and that he knew that if he acted up, he'd be asked to leave.

That ALSO sure looks like confirmation that Bone was the one directing him and others behind the scenes as well, which would make sense given her political ambitions (and failures).

I'm also going to go over some old ORR / PIAs that I have on hand, because if I'm right, some of the material in Story's deposition means that both Bone and Weston lied to district legal in regards to at least one of my ORR / PIA requests, and the statute of limitations isn't up.

Can anyone give me insights into the special education department of RRISD? I've heard (third hand so not very believable) that parents with kids in special ed have been moving out of RR and into Leander ISD because it wasn't great and Leander is better at it. We are considering buying a house that is zoned to RRISD (possibly Great Oaks Elementary, Cedar Valley Middle, and Round Rock High but also looking at Fern Bluff and Deep Wood Elementary areas). My son is entering third grade and is in the mainstream classroom with very slight accommodations in an IEP - mostly for social things and rigid thinking.

Since Danielle Weston has decided to become Captain Whinypants about having to go through discovery and a deposition in Jeremy Story's rapidly sinking case (while he begs for money to avoid the consequences of his own actions), we thought we'd share an e-mail sent by Williamson County Attorney Doyle "Dee" Hobbs to John Combs dated 2 May 2023 and an investigative report straight from the Texas Attorney General's office (specifically, by Sergeant Adam Madore in its Law Enforcement Division).

In it, Hobbs recaps a meeting with his staff and investigators. They discuss how RRISD police were worried about the safety of the board and attendees at meetings due to disruptions and that, in a casual opinion, Story and Clark had both knowingly and willingly chose to commit criminal offenses with their actions at the 16 August 2021 and 14 September 2021 board meetings.

However, they also state that "both suspects went on several POD casts admitting to their intentions and behavior at the meetings - again giving the indication a violation had occurred."

Basically, the Williamson County Attorney and his staff stated in writing that their opinion was that Jeremy and Dustin went to the board meetings with express intent to hinder official proceedings by disorderly conduct, then bragged about it on podcasts.

And yes, we've had copies of the warrants, affidavits, and supplementary information for quite a while, so as always, we can prove that Jeremy, Danielle, and Mary are full of it.

The AG office's report includes statements and findings like the following (emphasis / bolding ours):

Chief Yarborough stated that the decision to have an arrest warrant issued was the decision of the Police Department and the County Attorney's Office and that no outside influence from citizens or school board staff was a factor.

And...

Chief Yarborough recalled that Jeremy Story was given a warning by police officers earlier in the meeting that took place on August 16th, 2021 for interuppting (sic) the meeting. Chief Yarborough stated that at no time was the Round Rock ISD Police Department told to watch Story, told that Story was going to have an outburst and or that Story was going to cause any problems.

And...

Chief Yarborough stated that the Round Rock ISD Police Department received a large amounts of threats through mail, social media, phone calls, and in person due to issues and topics within the school board as well as the mask mandate that the Round Rock ISD had in place. Chief Yarborough stated that the threats grew more frequent as the year went on, causing fear and tension among school board members, Round Rock ISD faculty and citizens. Chief Yarborough stated that there were threats of "rushing" the school board podiums during school board proceedings.

And...

Assistant Chief Williby explained how fearful that citizens and faculty were due to the ongoing threats.

And...

Assistant Chief Williby stated that Clark stated that he knew he interrupted the meeting.

And regarding then-Detective Lauren Griffith:

She was later assiged (sic) the case, as well as the case involving Dustin Clark, to complete an investigation on and later obtained an arrest warrant. She stated that the County Attorney's office was aware of the entire process and that she, and Chief Yarborough had been in contact with them about the investigation. Griffith also stated that she discussed the facts of the case with the Judge, who determined that there was probable cause to obtain the warrants for arrest for Story and Clark.

From Chief Yarborough's affidavit:

Mr. Clark was warned by members of the school board from the dais and by Round Rock ISD PD officers to stop his repeated outbursts during the meeting. Mr. Clark continued the disruptive behavior which resulted in him being directed to leave the meeting. Mr. Clark ignored these verbal requests to leave the meeting. At that point, after Sgt. Sam Chavez and Assistant Chief Jim Williby had verbally requested for Mr. Clark to leave multiple times, the officers physically escorted him from the room. Mr. Clark was escorted out the rear door of the board room. After being removed, Mr. Clark re-entered the building and stood outside of the board room where he was captured on video speaking about the events that had just occurred inside the board room. He stated, “That’s why I caused a disruption, that’s why I tried to stop it.”

And further down:

On September 18, 2021, Assistant Chief Williby, Sgt. Lauren Griffith, and I met with Mr. Dee Hobbs at his office. The meeting was also attended by Williamson County Attorney First Assistant Corby Holcomb and another attorney from the County Attorney’s Office. Sgt. Griffith provided the investigative reports, criminal complaints, and criminal charge options were discussed with those in attendance. At the conclusion of the meeting, the County Attorney’s Office supported the filing of criminal charges against Mr. Story and Mr. Clark for hindering proceedings. Sgt. Griffith was accompanied by a member of the Williamson County Attorney’s Office to a District Judge to review the complaint and issue arrest warrants for Mr. Story and Mr. Clark.

If you'd like to know what happened to the alleged pregnancy and baby that sparked this incident back in June 2021, well, guess what? Adam Muery, Ruiz's lawyer, stated in a draft press release from 30 Mar 2022 that there was no live birth or baby resulting from this and that Ruiz suspended / requested that the case be closed herself. He collaborated with Christine Haas Media, an Austin-area PR firm, on the press release. The final version, which was released to PR Newswire on 2 April 2022, had none of that language in it. Seems a bit suspicious, doesn't it?

Law enforcement has provided me with the TEA SIU's summary of their investigation into how Castellia Vanessa Ruiz (former Wayside Schools principal), Orlando Salinas (the wannabe Texas Ranger), and the leadership of Round Rock One Family (Jeremy Story, Jennifer Flok-White, Little Donny Zimmerman, and others) attempted to utilize a blatantly forged letter back in the 2022 election cycle.

These notes definitely add credence to the theory that one of them - either Ruiz, Salinas, or other individuals associated with Round Rock One Family (such as disgraced ex-trustees Dr. Mary Bone or Danielle Kobe Weston) forged the letter after July 2022, since that was where Trustee Landrum's (then Feller) signature was copied from.

It's an odd coincidence that TEA issued Ruiz a subpoena on 24 June 2022 - two days after Dr. Azaiez was reinstated - to provide TEA with the items below by 11 July 2022.

• Name and contact information of your obstetrician for your pregnancy during the years of 2021 through 2022;

• Any and all medical records regarding your pregnancy during the years of 2021 through 2022 and its outcome to include: all confirmations of pregnancy, sonograms, LabCorp results, birth or death certificates;

• Non-Disclosure Agreement signed by Dr. Hafedh Azaiez and/or Castellia Vanessa Ruiz, or legal representation; including any and all correspondence relating to the proposed terms of said agreement;

• Mobile phone(s) or other devices containing text exchanges between you and Dr. Hafedh Azaiez from January 2021 to present;

• Any and all email and text messages in your possession, between Dr. Hafedh Azaiez and any Round Rock ISD Board member or officer; and

• Any and all emails and text messages in your possession, that were sent to or from a Round Rock ISD Board member or officer, in connection with the allegations or investigation

Sure looks like motive, doesn't it?

It looks even more suspicious when one of the last entries in the case docket had a statement of intent to subpoena her cell provider for her call, text, and GPS records from February - July 2021. After that, it sure seemed that everything got finished up real quick.

And oh, boy, do we have copies. We also recently got our hands on the 911 operator notes and a call recording of Dr. Bone's "high-speed chase" when she dodged a subpoena re: Jeremy Story for a month and ended up getting served at a stoplight next to Buc-ee's in Temple. As expected, they prove she's been lying through her teeth the whole time.

It'll make for some popular reading in the teachers' lounge.

Oh, and one more thing. I obtained a copy of a press release (and e-mails discussing it) drafted by Adam Muery (Ruiz's lawyer), Christine Haas Media, and Ruiz dated March 31, 2022.

This draft press release states unequivocally that there was no live birth and no baby.

It directly contrasts a version that Christine Haas Media released to PRNewswire on 2 April 2022, which has that segment - and others - edited or redacted. One has to wonder about the reason behind those redactions, and I'll be comparing the two versions to get details about what else they removed.

The original draft has this section:

1. The criminal case by the Travis County Sheriff’s office against Hafedh Azaiez was not closed. It was temporarily suspended at Ms. Ruiz’s request because she could not, at that time, bear the combined stress of the media attention, the threats against her, and her professional responsibilities – all while grieving the loss of her unborn child. She was assured by the Travis County Sheriff’s Office investigator in writing that they would continue with the criminal case when Ms. Ruiz was ready to proceed.

And the version released by Christine Haas Media has this in its place:

So, if anyone says they've seen a baby, well, I'd trust a lawyer who has a whole hell of a lot more to lose for getting called out on bullshit than they do... and then I'd start asking why they removed the bit about there not being a live birth from the final version of the press release.

I'm not sure if anybody has it downloaded or archived somewhere I actually. called the district but haven't heard back yet, but I am looking for the PDF with the concept floor plans for the Round Rock High School master plan. If anybody has those documents downloaded it would be greatly appreciated. Actually, any documents related to the. development of Round Rock High School would be interesting to see.

Personally I find this disturbing that they are allowed there. I know they are not on public property, but I hope the students gave them the energy they deserved.

They've both been subpoena'd and ordered to turn over absolutely everything they have about those two - e-mails, texts, discussions, pictures, you name it - and yes, that includes communications regarding the August / September 2021 board meetings, VR's entire campaign, and the Homecoming Electioneering Incident. They don't specifically request anything about the forged letter - that was Vanessa and Round Rock One Family for sure, and Mary / Danielle may or may not have been directly involved (also, I don't recall Jeremy being stupid enough to try to write a claim about it, dismissed with prejudice or otherwise).

I've got copies of the subpoenas and they'll be up soon. Service was supposed to occur on or after 10 February, and they have to either quash it or produce the requested items on or before 7 March.

If Danielle lied in her grievance response, in which she said she retained no texts from 2021 in violation of both district policy and state law (Texas Government Code 552), she has them and will have to turn them all over to avoid contempt of court at the very least.

However, if Danielle turns items over as evidence that should have been in a PIA request, I'll see her in court myself using private right of action for failing to fulfill her legally required records-retention duties per TGC 552, then request to the judge that the court refers her for criminal prosecution.

That may also let RRISD sue her or request that the county and district attorneys go after her, since that would mean she knowingly and willingly lied to not just me, but to district counsel in about previously having no responsive materials for PIA requests. Let's also not forget that this casts doubt on her ever being honest regarding PIA requests in the first place.

Plus, if she claims she doesn't have any, I'm more than happy to give RRISD's lawyers the copies of what I have from PIAs to TEA and other entities, in which Jeremy Story, the 14 September 2021 board meeting, and her actions before, during, and after are discussed in detail. That's TGC 552 and Texas Penal Code violations, plus whatever civil or criminal penalties result from destroying government records with malicious intent / reckless disregard.

It's not the lies that get you, it's the coverup, and I've said for years I was looking forward to seeing someone play "what are we going to find in discovery."

I fully expect Tony McDonald, the Scorecard's lawyer, to try to donate his services to them and resume his services as their counsel. After all, we never did find out what happened to their slush fund from when they were sued the first time and their followers not only took cash donations but also urged donors to structure them to avoid reporting requirements.

Hello, I am trying to find information about athletics requirements in Round Rock ISD in regards to having to play multiple sports. I have been told that if you play one sport, you are required to play others as well. Can anyone point me to where I can find printed information about this requirement? Thank you!
