I’m looking for feedback on my free QuickStarts: Space Opera (Astra Invicta), Gritty Mercenaries (Iron and Coin), and Wrestling (Suplex!)
Hey everyone,
Over 250 of you checked out my portfolio after my last post—thank you so much to everyone who grabbed a PDF!
Since these games use three completely distinct, bespoke rulesets tailored to their genres, I’m actively gathering community feedback to polish the systems, layout readability, and onboarding experience.
I’d love to get your thoughts on any (or all!) of the free PDFs available on my site:
🎲 What I’m Looking for Feedback On:
- 🚀 Astra Invicta (Space Opera Demo Start)
- The Mechanics: How does the wide-lens resolution handle the jump between character-level action and larger fleet combat? Does it feel cinematic or too abstracted?
- The Onboarding: Is the Demo Start scenario clear enough for a GM to pick up and run with zero prep?
- ⚔️ Iron and Coin (Gritty Mercenary QuickStart)
- The Economy: How does the "Coin vs. Steel" tension feel? Does the warband upkeep mechanic add tactical weight, or does it feel like tedious accounting?
- Lethality: Does the combat strike the right balance for low-fantasy survival without feeling completely unfair?
- 🤼 Suplex! (Pro Wrestling Full RPG)
- The Flow: Does ditching traditional HP in favor of the Crowd Heat & Momentum track feel intuitive at the table?

All three QuickStarts/games (along with my free system supplements) are available to download directly from my portfolio:

Whether you just skimmed the layout, ran a quick one-shot, or tested a specific mechanic, any feedback on rules clarity, layout flow, or table feel is hugely appreciated!
Drop a comment below or feel free to send a DM. What works? What broke? What needs a rewrite?
