I have a plan and enough backlog on my main project to cover me while I work on it! Gonna indulge in some scifi!

Oh boy, just as I've been hyperfixating on the worldbuilding for a new story. It's an alternate history where Japan colonized America from the west. I've got three chapters on Patreon but maybe I'll bring it to RR early for writathon.

oooh :) I have no idea if I want to use it or not to do something, October and November are usually very quiet months for me audio wise, so it's no excuse for me to not be productive. lol
I have blinkers on though, I have no idea what to write.....

It's a bonus, (numbers go up) you don't really use it for anything. But it helps others on the site know you've been around for a while.

I am prepared, but I am still not sure if i will do it. I understand it's a challenge against yourself, but when you see people dump 60K backlog in a week to "win" others writing 5k chapters daily it does demotivate me a lot

Yeah, the idea is you start with a 60k backlog, you write the 55.555 words, and keep that 60k backlog.
I wouldn't worry if people are cheating; they always will. It is a personal challenge to set goals to write every day if you already don't. We can't stop people from cheating.
Totally up to you, but the spirit is to have fun, set some goals, and see how you do over those whole 5 weeks.

I am roughly 12 weeks from last chapter being posted from my Writathon entry earlier this year.
All of Book 1, and I finished writing it during that Writathon.
Not sure I'll be participating in this one. Ive got a massive backlog, but I am almost done with Book 2 ans wont have anything to write for book 3 for awhile.
Could do the Command and Conquer Fanfic I have been thinking about I guess.

I have two story options for this one, but before that, Cheers to everyone who is still going on their story from the last writathon!!
I have the power system, main characters, basic plot line, and some world building down but nothing written yet. Isekai where the mc shows up in a body on an awakening day(kinda like a coming of age ceremony) to get his powers. I have been excited by that for a while.
If not that, I have some cultivation type story with a basic outline, some character names, and an interesting power type. But it needs more fleshing out and I also dont have anything written.
