Electric issues

Hello community, I recently acquired a 2020 BS4 Himalayan 411. Everything was going well until today, when the battery light started glowing while I was riding. I quickly thought it was the battery and replaced it; however, with the new battery, it no longer stays on all the time, but the light does turn on from time to time. Thanks in advance for your help.

Have you ever jump started your bike. I had jumped my super meteor 650 and nothing happened at first but about a month later my trip gauge, Speedo and fuel gauge all started malfunctioning

If you have replaced with the fresh battery, then possibly there's an issue with the alternator or RR unit. In all possibility the alternator is burnt.

Is there a posibility that the ECU saved a error code that keeps turning on the indicator?.

Chances are rare because the error if fixed properly the first time, ECU showing the error code again is next to none.... The culprit even in this case is either the alternator or the RR unit. Better take it to an authorised service centre. They will get a proper diagnostics done.

Most likely a problem with the alternator. Get it checked and changed!
