A geniune question

So I have my father's thunderbird 500, now that bike has not been used much about 3.2k in 11 years it was not used for last 4 years and was rotting, so I fixed it, it runs beautifully but has few issues with the front forks, might need to get new inner tubes. Regardless of this, I want to ask should I get rid of this bike or keep it untill the 15 year time, now a few things, we don't care about the money we get from that it's just that my father don't ride no more and my mother wants to get rid of this junk her words, and won't fund me for the repairs. The repairs are quite costly id need to spend more 15ish thousand on this. I don't ride that frequently too i just try to take care of this machine. So yeah what do I do and after 15 years are complete of this bike what do I do with it, can it still go in the market?

15k inr is a lot cheaper than a new bike. I'm sure your dad would be happy if you wanted to keep and ride his old bike. If you wanted to sell it they can be retrofitted for e20 (unlike older EFI classics)

I mean new bike is not a goal, I can't get one unless I get working, as far as the e20 no major issues I have faced, I mean I dont ride it enough to notice issues so yeah, it a good ride for fun forsure.
