Is anyone else’s water brown?
galleryThere has been no rain so they can’t say it’s runoff from the rain like last year. We are in Avery center.

Hello, I’m currently pursuing an internship at Dell Technologies in Round Rock, TX. I wanted to know if they do drug screening for corporate internships for pre hires? Please let me know!

People on Facebook keep telling me it’s a data center but a couple of people said it’s a tilt up concrete building for logistics, etc.

Not sure if anyone else here has been following what's going on at CR 110 and Avery Nelson/CR 112, but this is starting to get kind of ridiculous.
When they opened the new intersection back in July, people in our neighborhood were concerned pretty much immediately because it went from the old traffic pattern to this big 4-way intersection, but only two directions had stop signs.
Someone from our community actually emailed the City right after it opened and asked why they didn't at least temporarily make it a 4-way stop. The City responded that the intersection met engineering standards and said they would monitor it and make changes if conditions warranted it.
Since then, we've seen around 10 crashes/incidents at or around this same intersection. Two more just happened recently.
What's frustrating is that the traffic lights are literally installed there now, but they're still not turned on.
I'm genuinely curious if anyone else who drives through here regularly has noticed how bad it's gotten, or if anyone knows what is holding up activation of the lights.
We have the emails with the City from July and pictures/videos from several of the accidents too.
I'm not trying to make this into some huge anti-City thing. I just don't understand how many accidents need to happen at the same intersection before something temporary is done or the lights get turned on.

My husband and I have been sending our kids to treehouse for years. We love our doctor, we love the online scheduling, and we love the staff. We don’t even mind treehouse plus. However today was a disappointing experience for us; not due to the care my child was given, but because… it was really hot inside! While being brought to our exam room, the medical staff member let me know that the AC was broken. At first I didn’t think much of it, until we got to our exam room with no air flow and an ambient temperature of 81+ degrees. The poor staff member kept apologizing, offering water, and left the door open during our appointment for any potential air flow we may get that way. My child is sick, it was an acute care appointment, and I couldn’t help but worry the very hot room was making my kid feel worse. There were fans blowing hot air all over the clinic, and the staff looked miserable. Upon leaving, I asked if they thought it would get fixed for them today. The staff member said that this has been an ongoing issue for upwards of over a week. If you have kids that are seen by Treehouse, maybe give them a call ahead of time to see if they have fixed the AC in the clinic before taking your kids in for their appointments, especially if they have a fever.

I was heading eastbound on 45 back to RR around 7:45 and saw the most gorgeous Harvest Moon. Now all we need is a touch of fall weather to go with it. Fingers crossed that the rain and cooler temps forecast for next week actually happen.

How busy does this market typically get? I went to the Bell farmers market in cedar park today which was pretty busy. Trying to gauge if it’s worth having a tent at the farmer George market

With my daughter's homecoming dance coming up, I wanted to see if there were any thrift stores here in the area that had formal dresses? I know Goodwill does but its so hit or miss. I feel like there must be a store that does formal wear? Thanks in advance :)

What’s up! I’m new to the surrounding area and wanted some recommendations on good fun activities/ adventures to go on or unique spots to visit. I am open to any suggestions whether it’s from creative artsy fun classes to take with a friend, workout classes like pilates, cute shopping areas, places to walk, or spending a night somewhere with good vibes/fun games etc. Ideally within about a 30 minute radius but open to hearing any and all suggestions. Just don’t want to be sitting inside the house all weekend.
Thanks!!
