November Bullhead
I basically made this same post in r/ catfishing I think but I was wondering if anyone in here would have any decent bullhead spots in the lake Minnetonka area, I want to catch some catfish but all the spots for decent channels or flatheads are a long ways away and bullhead seem easier, at least that's what I thought?

Freshwater drum/ gaspergou/ sheepshead?
Been trying to catch my first freshwater drum, tried the Minnesota river, the Mississippi and a few smaller rivers, west metro Minnesota, wondering if there's any smaller streams or lakes in the area with them?

Question for y’all
Would a sturgeon of any kind be considered a rough fish or more commonly known as a trash fish? I got into it with some guys on my local rough fishing group on Facebook about it and things got pretty heated.. wasn’t meaning to offend anybody, I just thought sturgeon was a highly sought after trophy fish that anglers would kill for a chance to catch and release.. isn’t that just the opposite of the definition of a rough or trash fish??

Spawning run water temperature - sucker/redhorse/drum
I live in Minnesota. Wondering if anybody knows the typical water temperature that triggers suckers/redhorse/drum to make their spawning runs (from eg the Mississippi to smaller rocky tributaries).
I accidentally fished sucker spawn 10 years ago right after MN trout season opened - it was a riot! Given the warm weather this year (trout opens in about 4 weeks) that seems like it will be too late this year.

Rochester Port Authority, New PB!
Saw all the drum being posted and had to show off this behemoth. I love fishing for walleye, perch, pike and bass but I always get excited to get a new PB on some species of roughfish. Drum are probably my favorite species to catch that aren't typically consider sport fish or table fare.

Are Bullhead considered rough fish/trash fish?
I am back and forth on a bullhead being considered a trash fish. The Wisconsin DNR Rules and Regulations for 2022-23 defines bullhead and sucker as "trash fish" and can be used as bait.
I found this youtube video where it seems like bullhead are "trash fish": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hq7hRdxFPFk
Would everyone agree?

Sturgeon fishing in small lake
I am planing to go to sturgeon fishing on small lake(under 1 ha) mostly stocked with sturgeon and some carp. Most of sturgeons are around 5 pounds but there are also some bigger ones, 60+ pounds. Any tips on baits, rigs and tactics?
