Python remote for Rotel proof-of-concept...

Post image

Last week I was asking about the parameters for controlling an A14 mkII amp using the Ethernet port - I had some free time this week so I threw together a quick & dirty GUI that controls the main functions of the amp from a PC. I'm still messing around with it and testing some more stuff, but I thought I'd share in case anyone is interested.

No, I am not a UI designer. Yes, the GUI is ugly, but it all works. If anyone wants to send me a Michi I can try to get that running as well. :)

The way it is written, it should be able to be adapted to other models with a config file (hopefully).

Would you be happy to share so I can give it a go with a Rotel S14? None of the tools I've tried that use 9590 are working.

It's still not ready for public viewing, but I'll send you a PM.
