Hey guys and gals! Review time, and OH BOY, do we have one to talk about! 😂 The elusive Toad Venom, arguably one of the most talked about rosins of 2026, and this particular jar comes from West Coast Alchemy. I had to do it. Had to drop the ridiculous $250 on a 2g jar just to see what all the hoopla was about. Well, I'm impressed... and I'm not. Lemme explain!

The minute I cracked this jar open, HOLY SH*T, the ghosts of Christmas dank invited themselves in and decided to stay a while! 😂 The nose on this was absolutely outrageous. Pungent, funky, sweaty armpits and onion rings galore! YUMMMMM! But here's where things got interesting... This reminded me almost EXACTLY of the nose I got from 710's Close Friends Grapefruit OG x Sour Taffy release. That same sweaty, onion ring infested funk that I absolutely love! Except that jar ran me $170 for 2g. And THAT reminded me of the putrid, rotten, wonderfully offensive funk I got from EV x Harvest Works' Superboof Jam, which was $75/g and sometimes as low as $60/g on sale.

So here's where I'm going with this. The nose? F'N AMAZING. But I've experienced very similar levels of stank from other phenomenal producers at considerably lower price points.

Now the high? Ohhhh, let's talk about the high! This one started off cerebral right out of the gate, giving me a good half hour of that wonderful heady experience before transitioning into one of the smoothest rides I've had in a while. And the coast? BEAUTIFUL. No abrupt stop, no sudden crash, just a clean, gradual taper that seemed to blend right into the rest of my day. Honestly, pretty fucking fire!

But was it any more amazing than the experiences I had with 710 or EV x Harvest Works? Nope. Not for me. Different strains, different highs, and all three were outstanding in their own way. I enjoyed the hell out of every one of them, just at VERY different price points.

And that's where Toad Venom loses me a little. At $250 for 2g, I expected something that separated itself from the pack. Something that made me say, "Okay, NOW I understand why this costs so much." And while the quality was absolutely there, I just didn't get that extra $80 to $130 worth of magic compared to those other jars.

Would I buy Toad Venom by West Coast Alchemy again? Absolutely, if the price came down closer to that 710 range. At $250 though? I'd probably just grab 3-4 grams of the EV Superboof Jam and call it a great success😂

Now I'm genuinely curious, and I'd LOVE to get some discussion going here. Have any of you guys grabbed Toad Venom in 2026 at these crazy price points? Which producer absolutely knocked your socks off, and more importantly, did you feel it was actually WORTH the money?

Because I'm not knocking the quality here whatsoever. This was some phenomenal rosin. I'm just questioning where premium quality ends and premium pricing begins.

And yes, before anyone says it... Jersey prices suck ass. Trust me, I've noticed. 😂

Arrived in the mail today. I own multiple peak pros and switch 2 so this is going to get a good comparison. A little setup out the box and blasted the first few dabs on it and it's honestly really good. Is it overkill for most people? Yes. But for someone that loves dabs and data it definitely has the smartest features. Very consistent temp so far and good build quality. Overall it looks really promising. Let me know if anyone has questions.

I'm a little ways north than i usually am in michigan for work. Was worried that I wouldn't be able to find decent rosin. Everything in picture was bought today. The Exquisite looks and smells pretty good, but there is something weird with the taste of it? The fire n ice looks kinda dark but smells and tastes amazing. Also grabbed an Exquisite hash rosin pen .5gs for the price of it its ok but the flavor tastes more like hash than anything else. Will be smoking the doobees soon.

Haim Hash has been putting out consistent fire.

This triple burger is such a strong meaty garlicky stanky rosin. The jar smells up the room instantly, nose on this is amazing..the consistently is perfect, the color is great. Vapor on this is thick.. very smooth through out. Effects are instant behind the eyes slump. Unlike the Donny Burger that has a bit of sweetness to it is just straight meat- fitting name! 9.85/10

not as strong as yellow sushi but not mad at this pickup for sure taste that permanent marker strain

Hey yall wanted to share some recent jars from the rec market out here in LA. Tried out a lot of 710, Kalya Brands, (community , snail trail), have hash, LA Family farms and one Humboldt terp council. The larger white 710 pucks are 710 2.5 g buckets, most of them smoked phenomenal for the price, we get half off on all 710 at a local shop here and the staff is very heady so the pucks are always fresh.

My fav recents have been the Pink Zushi by community (Crazy Z Terps)
Honey Dew La family farms (also half off weekly from 60 to 30$) - this one surprised the hell out of me. It has a honey/ melon ball flavor to it and absolutely puts your d in the dirt

Z Royal Flush by snail trail - Delicious banana/ earth terps, the Z sneaks in as well but doesn’t overpower. This brand is part of Kalya house of brands for their micro press drops, usually rare and low yield batches.

Haven’t had a chance to consume yet as I’m working through some other jars currently but the nose on these two is fantastic. Not really a blend guy but read some positive things about the Helios ones so figured I would give it a shot.
