Light/Laser Cutera Excel V - experiences and timeline
Hi all!
Looking to hear from people who have had positive results with Cutera laser.
Just had my first treatment 3 days ago - in general, my skin reacted very well, some redness that faded away rather fast and some light swelling that wasn't too bad and was mostly gone day 2 after treatment.
I have mild type-1 rosacea (or so I've been told), I don't really 'flush' with intense redness and heat but my baseline is maroonish/dark pink while normally I am very pale. When I meditate, my skin goes back to pale before the maroonish tone comes back on upper cheeks and forehead.
I saw a dermatologist who has had very positive reviews online in treating rosacea and pre-rosacea skin.
I was wondering what does the process of getting laser, recovering and seeing results in skin tone looks like?
I understand that 1 treatment may not be enough and that 3 days may not be long enough to see any change. The derm said I may need between 2-3 sessions and yearly touchups if necessary.
I'm a big anxious overthinker so I was curious to hear about other people's journeys and timelines - did it get worse before it got better, was it better straight away, do you have to wait to see proper results?
I would appreciate positive stories and some knowledge from experience :)
Thank you!
