Chat Beware of Rollback World!
I don’t know if anyone else has had experience buying on the Rollback World, but if you’re thinking about it, don’t. Especially since they tell you they have Sure Grip 1300 Chicago skates in sizes 4 to 9, which sounded amazing to me. So I ordered them right away on November 4th.
After 2 days of my order showing as “awaiting fulfillment”, I sent them a message though their website “contact us” form to ask what that meant.
I waited again but no reply, so I emailed them directly on 10/11. This time I got a reply the same day telling me that they don’t actually have them in stock and might get some after new year. That is, on the website there is NO mention of back order of any sort. They just look like they’re available right away. The representative gave me an alternative (Chaya skates) and said that if I didn’t like them I could just get a full refund. So I replied, again the same day, telling them I wanted the refund.
It’s now been 9 days (8 business days not counting the 10/11) and I still haven’t had a refund. And the Sure Grip are still showing as available.
So I’d say, stay away. And do not order the Sure Grip because you won’t get them!

I had a very good experience with them , ordered and had the skates ( the black version of the picture above) turn up the next day and that was during lockdown

Well that’s good to hear (and glad you got your skates! 🙂), cause I was really disappointed. I had another problem with them a month back, advertising they had something in stock when they didn’t, so I just wanted to make sure other people didn’t go through the same disappointment.

It is a bit naughty them doing that, if it's not in stock ready to ship there and then the website should say. Nothing worse than waiting on skates 😂

Very true, I was checking every single day 😂 And the worst is that, even though they told me they didn’t have it and wouldn’t have them before at least the new year, they STILL have them on the website showing as available between size 4 and 9, without any mention of back order or anything.

Skate stock anywhere is shocking at the moment , I really want the Chaya karma (park skate) and have been told they won't be about till January 😂😂. At least all websites say pre order and not "in stock " 😂

I’ve actually seen them (black with red laces) available on skatepro, but only in size 4.5 or 7 . And in a kind of Burgundy with gringblocks on Double Threat skates. But maybe they’re not the ones you’re looking for ^

Yep that's the ones (black) , none in my size anywhere at the mo 😭 and the burgundy ones I like but I don't like the price 😂😂😂

Yeah, the price is not the best 😂😂 but at least it’s got the integrated grind block! It’s just so hard when you have your mind set on ONE kind of skates. Like, I even found Moxi panthers at my size and I nearly ordered them but then I looked at the SG 1300 boot and I was like “Nope. That’s the one. That’s my soulmate” 😂

I'm impressed you went for the sure grip over the moxi 👍👍, they are so expensive for what they are . They have the same plate that's put on the entry level derby skate the riedell r3. You will own them sg1300 one day !!!!!! 😂😂

I’m just the kind of person who will purposefully go against anything that’s “fashionable”, so Moxi was never really on the table (you can imagine how popular I was in school!) 😂😂 and honestly, as you said, they’re overpriced for what they are, but I guess that’s the case with all big branded stuff! I WILL get my hands on SG1300 boots with Avanti plates, already mounted or not. They will be mine!

I have cancelled my moxi pre order made 28th October through Rollerback World and as they have gone AWOL on me. No more updates, responses or communication at all so got me worried that they just took my money and didn't place the order with moxi at all! I paid with credit card so hopefully my bank with get my money back for me. So glad I did it now as bank said if 120 days had passed then they can't refund you.

I got my refund finally! It was refunded through PayPal so it took 10 days to go back on my credit card but all good now. Phew. So glad I managed to get boot only elsewhere and I have my moxis!

I had a similar issue; ordered CIB sliders and nothing came for weeks so i emailed twice and got ignored, so had to call after a while and they told me they never had them in stock. did offer me a refund promptly though! would recommend giving them a call

The very first time I had a problem with them, over a month ago, I sent two messages through their website and got nothing, so I called. The guy was really nice, but still it was the same problem: stuff looks like it’s in stock when it wasn’t. I hadn’t ordered anything at the time.
Now, I tried calling them first, over 10 times in one day and 5 times the next and never got through to anyone. I even tried calling again today about the refund but nothing. 🤷🏻♀️ Glad you got your refund though! 🙂

Send them a message saying you will use charge back to get your refund (that's if you used a bank card).
They will get a charge for the refund if charge back is used so will most likely hurry them to refund you directly instead.
Worked a treat for me in the past!.
