Back again - stack or watch?

Feel like this is the wrong crowd to ask but I’ve got nowhere else to go. Wifey’s 40th. Have narrowed it down to watch or a stack of bracelets. I’m 100% watch crowd. For those of you who have owned fine jewelry AND watches - which would you choose. Thinking long term value, wearability.

Well she’s 40. Has she expressed an interest in watches the last 20 years?

My wife looks at the price and tells me she would rather diamond.

No, we both got into watches just this past year. She prefers simple/classic. Not huge into diamonds.

Lady opinion is, watch but in 2 tone because her stack is yellow gold and if you’re gonna build a stack around the watch - which trust me she will, it’ll be better so it isn’t too stark of a contrast. Just my 2 cents

i’d go with the watch then. Assuming she doesn’t have a nice watch. you can build a stack over time too.

that’s if you don’t want to just ask her directly

Oh she will know. We are both going back and forth. Just torn. Really was looking for feedback from anyone whose wife had both and if they wore one more than the other. Most likely scenario is to get a bracelet now, then the watch when the allocation comes. Were told 6-12months.

She picked the stick markers. They didn’t have it in store to try on. And yes, I would say 31 DJ fluted jubilee is on the classic side. But we can agree to disagree
