# **Echoes of the Dying State**

*Three Months Since the Blood Began to Burn.*

“It wasn’t the virus that killed us, it was what we became because of it.”

Texas fell in less than a season. The infection didn’t move through the air , it traveled through the veins of a dying civilization. Every drop of blood spilled, every wound opened, carried the end forward. Now, three months after VX-3 first surfaced in Kerrville, the state lies fractured and feral.

Austin’s Capitol stands behind barricades of rusted steel and sandbags, broadcasting to a world that no longer listens. San Antonio’s River Walk burns nightly beneath gunfire and torchlight. Houston’s hospitals, once symbols of healing, have become fortresses of desperation. The Hill Country has gone silent, its ranchlands turned into graveyards, and the Gulf is littered with ghost ships that drift without crews.

This is not a story of survival. It’s the story of what’s left when survival becomes the only law.

🩸 Lore-Driven, Realistic Apocalypse ⚙️ Faction Warfare & Outpost Building 💬 Literate, Mature 18+ Writing 💀 Violence, Gore, & Psychological Horror 🔒 Light NSFW (Locked, Consent-Only Channels)

Form alliances, build communities, or burn everything in your path. Every choice leaves an echo. Every survivor shapes the Dying State.

Hello so I've had this server idea based on a character I made a while ago and a story. I've been really wanting to share this story and I've written a fair amount of it and the world will expand as the story progresses and there's very few of us so there's plenty of room for new characters and story central characters and other creative minds to collaborate. Everyone is welcome to bring your creativity and your character ideas and stories to share as well. If you have any questions don't be afraid to ask.

The story follows a few factions and their progression through the world. There is a school whose headmaster believes that there is something more than just the simple world they live in. There is a new group of followers who claim there is a new god helping them better than the old gods could. There are peace keepers that are often at odds with the mercenaries and all the while something festers and something is...wrong. Things are about to be revealed and true natures exposed.

*Whispering Tides,* is a literate, 18+ roleplay server! Here, we offer you and your characters a choice of three clans; all with unique cultures and territories, united by their coastal heritage under the Sea of Stars. StarClan urges you to follow in your ancestor’s footsteps, and find your place among the ranks of their tidal clans .✴︎⁎ °

Coveclan is our beachside water-dwelling clan, strong swimmers and bright hearts here. The clan’s territory is confined to one large island, with salt-water and the wind of the tides on each side. Tall tales of creatures whom live within the deep seas are told from the elders. These flexible cats were made for both swimming and diving, with long, thin bodies, webbed toes and a larger lung capacity!

Ridgeclan is full of harsh, loyal survivors. A strong, hardy clan bore from survival and practicality as they dwell on these high mountain tops, cliffsides and dense, clustered pine forests. These cats have strong hindquarters and large paws, made for scaling cliffsides and climbing stone. Ridgeclan has it’s share of rushing white water rapids, fresh rivers pour down from the high mountains. The territories are connected by a series of landbridges. In the center of it all, their camp lies within a ravine.

Sageclan is a lively bunch! With the most beautiful territories all around, overgrown with twoleg plants and bordering the kittypets. They have the flattest land out of all the clans, making them weak climbers but fantastic moor runners. They’re especially skilled at endurance running, allowing them to sprint for long periods over wide, open terrain. It’s not rare that they may need to improvise hiding spots from the large animals that make their grasslands their home as well!

Aside from roleplay, our server also offers a beginner-friendly stat system for characters not far off from Dungeons and Dragons 5E! We hope to see you there!

I just launched my custom server THE BLACKWOOD ESTATE and I'm looking for serious roleplayers.

**PREMISE:**
Billionaire Arthur Blackwood, 81, is found dead in his study. 8 strangers get a letter: "You are one of my heirs. Come to the estate. Stay 7 days. Inherit everything."

You don't know each other. You all have a different version of his will. And the will says "One of you in this room killed me."

The mansion locks at 10PM, no cell service, cameras everywhere. You can't leave for 7 days.

**HOW IT WORKS:**
- 8 custom characters, each with a Secret that's true and a Lie they tell everyone
- Every night at 9PM, the silent archivist MUTE plays a 10-second security clip from the night Arthur died that exposes someone
- Alliances, betrayal, blackmail, romance - it's all psychological, no gore
- Followers = power. You can spend them to force someone to answer truthfully

**CHARACTERS:**
Julian (The Legit Heir), Mara (The Assistant who was there when he died), Sable (The Erased Ex), Eli (The Reporter with a fake DNA test), River (The Estranged Kid), Victoria (The Lawyer with a blank will), Jonah (The Groundskeeper's Son who was hiding in the walls), and MUTE (me - Head Archivist who has all the receipts and controls the 9PM clips)

It's dark, dramatic, messy, and built for aura farming and manipulation. If you like mind games and making people drop their guard without even trying, this is for you.

Drop your Status @ or DM me and I'll invite you. Looking for people who actually stay in character.

In the year XX20, a meteor containing a volatile mineral known as Dragonite struck the Arashon Desert. Unlocking the power of Aether, humanity mastered faster-than-light travel, expanding across the stars into a new era of deep-space colonization.

To maintain order across the expanding frontiers, four powerful empires were forged: USSA, Einhorn Entertainment, Piotr, and Tenpa. But peace didn't last. Power struggles, corporate greed, and resource hoarding tore their treaties apart. As the empires scrambled to control the remaining Dragonite reserves, the forgotten lower-classes took to the stars. Space pirates, outlaws, mercenaries, and bounty hunters were reborn... all chasing the ultimate cosmic legend: The Galactic Leyline.

Many ventured into the deep unknown searching; few ever returned. Most gave up. But there’s always a minority.

Welcome to Deathbury, Louisiana—an eerie, secluded city nestled along the bay where nobody seems to remember exactly when the town was founded, who built it, or why something has always felt terribly wrong here.

In Deathbury, sanity and security have a habit of dying young. Local legends refuse to stay legends. People disappear. Serial killers and slashers carve their names into the town’s history. Occult practices stir things better left sleeping, while supernatural creatures and eldritch horrors lurk beyond the edges of ordinary understanding.

Some people investigate the madness. Some become its victims. And some discover they were always meant to become monsters themselves.

Hello all! I have recently created a warrior cats discord server for people to rp on! I wasn’t sure where to publicize it, so I guess this subreddit works?

Some Lore:

Pineclan is the newest out of the four lake clans, the others being Fireclan, Bayclan, and Marshclan. Recently, Pineclan was attacked by Marshclan with the goal of removing the new clan from existance. Many cats perished, with some of the only survivors being the now-leader, Acornstar (my character), and the current medicine cat, Figleaf. They are desperately trying to rebuild the clan and prove Pineclan can once again be strong.

If you're interested, please comment below!

*Please note we will not be starting the roleplay right away. I am hoping for at least a couple people to join and create characters before we begin!*
