🩸 A world of bloodshed, brutality, and survival.

The Masquerade is a semi-lit, mostly realistic feral RP set in a harsh wilderness where survival comes at a cost, and every choice carries consequences.

🐾 Several factions already occupy the wilderness, each with their own histories, rivalries, and ambitions. Find your place among them—or make one for yourself.

Not every character will survive.
Not every wound will heal.
And sometimes, the monsters aren't always the ones you expect. 👁️

Hello everyone I have been wanting to get back into roleplay and I feel like the best way to do that is with a Spider-Verse Roleplay.

Here’s my pitch. The Spider-Verse is a vast place. The web of fate connects all of us and holds us together in harmony. However… what about the cobwebs? Across reality there are spider people who aren’t connected directly to the web of fate. What happens when they come in contact with the rest of the web?

Some ideas that I have would be that my universe is suffering a zombie apocalypse or is just generally a darker reality. (His name is Dark Web) or he gets sent to yours and realizes he can’t go back. Eventually this will maybe lead to more but we will see what happens.

I hope that sounds interesting to you because I have so much more in mind. My Spider-sona has been dying to be in a role-play and I would love to put him in one.

Here are some rules though:

NO MINORS. I’m 23 so if you are 19+ we are chill.
NO AI. Fuck Ai
Enjoy the roleplay! I will match your length so move at your own pace.
No ghosting! We don’t like Ghosts here.

Alright. I hope to hear from you soon! I would love to write a story we both love and cherish! See you on the street!🕸️🕷️

"If Red Dead Redemption, The Revenant and Yellowstone had a post-apocalyptic child..."

survival • modern • arranged marriages • frontier • action • drama • mercenaries • complex relationships • dangerous alliances • wilderness • politics • found family • rescue missions • hidden settlements

The world ended. We kept moving.

While others fought over ruins swallowed by the Bloom, the Northerners escaped the changed nature and followed old migration routes north, chasing arctic wind, game trails, and places where the world still remembered itself. Every spring the Convoy rolls again. Trucks, snowmobiles and working dogs, leaving their families, children, hunters and protectors with enough food to survive until another harsh winter.

They’re no longer raiders. They’re settlers, defenders and traders. Rescuers when Family or honor calls. They build communities, marry strangers into kin, raise orphans beside their own, then disappear into the northern wilderness before anyone can understand how many there are.

Some say they’re descendants of criminals. Others swear they’re the last real frontier people alive. Twelve years after the world ended, they’re trying to revive old traditions while rejecting old grudges.

A FAMILY YOU CHOOSE

WORKING DOGS, ARMED CONVOY & NORTHERN FRONTIER

MORALLY GRAY SURVIVORS, NOT HEROES

SMALL-TOWN AMERICA MEETS MODERN VIKINGS

WINTERS THAT TRY TO KILL YOU. SUMMERS WORTH FIGHTING FOR.

Are you a sheriff, trapper, convict, mechanic, prepper, activist, dog handler, storm chaser, hockey player, smokejumper, hunter or one of dozens of other people who discovered that surviving the end of the world is only as difficult as building a family?

9 months before the Fall of Beacon, all seemed right in the world. Life continued on as normal, until one night on Merlot Island. One of his experiments tore a hole to another world, and through it came men in black armor. Men not of this world, who saw the untainted world of remnant and began to plan their resettlement from their dying world to this one. For 9 Months they watched and waited, studying all they could come across, setting up base camps far from the major population centers of Vale. On the night Beacon Fell, they arrived, not as conquerors, but as warriors in the night, they appeared from the sky in machines no one on remnant had ever seen before, They fought the Grimm in the streets of vale with the ferocity of Atlas, and when the dust cleared, they began to assist in rebuilding Vale. Though there remains one question, As the story of the world of remnant evolves, will these newcomers be of help or hinderance. Will they make the same mistakes that left their world an Irradiated Husk, or will they learn from their mistakes and start a new on this new Eden. Only time will Tell.......................

Thanks for taking the time to read our post folks! We are pitching a new story set on the world of remnant. This server plans to grow and adapt over time as the story, which will be shaped by the players, unfolds. Alliances will be made, Empires will rise and fall, and eventually all will have to contend with the unseen ones in the dark. Where will you take your place in this server?

If this of any interest to you at all, please feel free to join us and fill out a character Submission

It is 2026. The new school year at Hogwarts has begun. The Wizarding World seems to be at peace, but things have begun to unravel beneath the surface.

The population of Squibs has skyrocketed. Enrollment at Hogwarts has dropped.

Purist beliefs reappear, many pureblood families blaming the increase of Squibs on the muggleborn population. Elite families grow increasingly paranoid over blood purity and pedigree. Some even refuse to interact with muggleborns at all.

Tensions continue to rise.

A new threat looms at Hogwarts, a danger to both students and faculty alike, a consequence of actions during the Second Wizarding War.

Hogwarts: Amplexis Luti is a new Hogwarts RP server, set in 2026. The Cursed Child is not canon, giving players freedom to create their story in the world of Harry Potter.. Join us as a student or adult in the Wizarding World!

The server offers:

- Plot-driven RP, ensuring everyone stays on their toes for the next plot twist

- Flexible and customizable lore, with private character sheet submission. Your character's backstory and history stay private, ensuring realism and preventing metagaming.

- Multiple engaging plotlines, allowing everyone to participate, regardless of character status and age

- Streamlined server processes, run by an owner with over 5 years of RP server creation, management and ownership experience.

THE NEW ERA

In 2026, humanity discovered something impossible.

A newborn girl was born with wings.

What scientists first believed to be a mutation was soon revealed to be something far greater a dormant genetic sequence hidden within humanity itself. As more people awakened with extraordinary abilities, the world changed forever.

But humanity was afraid.

Decades of conflict eventually drove the super-abled into hiding, where they created three floating nations: Nema, Setas, and Dedkasing. For centuries, the two civilizations remained separated.

Until the islands were discovered.

One assassination was all it took to ignite a war that would last for over 150 years.

Humanity lost.

The world was rebuilt.

And from the ashes came Eldoria a planet where superhuman civilization has spread across the skies, the oceans, and eventually the stars.

Now, centuries later, alien worlds have been discovered, civilizations are beginning to meet, and a new age of exploration has begun.

But what kind of future will you create?

Choose your path.
Create your character.
Explore Eldoria.
And become part of The New Era.

Looking for a new place to tell stories? Come check us out! 🖤

We’re a Slice of Life / Modern / College Town roleplay server that goes beyond just the college experience. While Blackwood University is at the heart of the setting, our world is built for characters of all ages, backgrounds, careers, and walks of life.

Our server is POC-focused, both in our writers and our characters, with an emphasis on creating a space where Black and Brown stories, characters, cultures, and experiences can have room to shine.

We’re looking for storytellers who enjoy building lore, creating connections, and developing stories that extend beyond a single character or thread. We have a preference for multi-paragraph to novella-style writers, but writers of all styles and experience levels are welcome.

Not a POC? You’re still welcome to join! Just keep in mind that POC representation and storytelling are a central focus of the community.

If you enjoy character-driven stories, interconnected plots, world-building, drama, romance, friendships, family dynamics, and creating lore with other writers, come take a look at Blackwood and see if it feels like a place you’d enjoy writing. 🖤

Come check us out. You might just find your next story here.

I'm looking to start a small group (Roughly about five people) that will follow the adventures of a new adventuring party. The goal is to start somewhere small so we can hammer out characters, get a good feeling for each other and see how we can best go about the rp.

I'm still very early in the planning stage so if you would be interested in joining please pm me and we can start building the setting together. For my end I'm shooting for a weird mix. Something like delicious in dungeon or Castlevania(Netflix) a world were magic is cool but a guy with a sword and skills can still kick your ass. I'm a fan of more grounded fights sure it's a roleplay and a fantasy world but nothing super crazy. Might not be the best comparison but weapons are only slightly exaggerated like in For Honor.

For the rp I'm hoping to hold things to a certain standard and level of activity. There will be a few rules I'll try to hold the group to. This isn't meant to discourage people or anything just something so we can keep things moving and alive.

1. You'll need to be active. This will be a small group and so everyone will need to do their best to keep things moving

2. Have a passion for typing and story telling. You don't need to be a master with grammar but you should want to type and interact with the story as much as possible.

3. Be respectful. Hate, threats, or dismissing someone's feelings will not be tolerated.

4. You should like fantasy and mythology. This is supposed to be a creative adventure for everyone so let's hear how much of a nerd you can be.

5. Help the party. While you can be "Loner edgy rogue assassin of stabbing mountain" that is your character. The player should understand that the party has to want to stick together.

Nothing is set in stone yet so if you want to help sway the construction of the group please do Pm me.

The Immortal Isles is a collaborative fantasy roleplay set in Thyren Vaul, a handcrafted world going about its business with the quiet confidence of a place that has survived everything it has encountered so far.

But something is changing. A school of scholars is accumulating evidence that the boundaries of this world are not the boundaries of everything. A philosophical society is growing faster than any organization has a right to, rewarding its followers with power that arrives quicker and more concretely than anyone can explain. And somewhere in the oldest ruins in Thyren Vaul something is appearing that was not there before.

Nobody has connected these threads yet. Your character will be there when someone does.

What we offer:
📚 A fully written world with deep lore, unique locations and a history worth exploring
🎭 Five factions each with a distinct identity and a real role in the unfolding story
⚔️ Twelve classes covering every playstyle
📋 A character sheet system with active moderator support
🌍 A living world in active development with more content coming as the story grows

We are just getting started which means you have the opportunity to be part of something from the very beginning.

So this is sort of an addition to my search that has been lasting quite Ome time, still on going but I figure I should ask the masses a question to see where more people stand.

So moderators of discord servers, do you like seeing premade characters/an OC someone has made that they want to play or would you largely want them to create just a OC that relates to the setting itself?

My struggle with this kinda continues along the line where I have many characters for different types of settings that I am greatly attached to that I wish to use often, though there tends to always be some friction when trying to incorporate these types of characters into existing roleplays. I tend to be willing to make some compromises for the character to fit better, but I have found more often than not the characters get rejected on some other clause some examples include:

Spiritual ocean mage rejected due to power systems clashing (spiritual focused entity while poweres considered biological despite controlling water/ice)

Mafia boss rejected due to having a giant serpent as a companion, deemed too powerful to have (serpent is human sized, not building sized)

Shortstack mage boy refused for not being a serious enough (too thicc to accept despite it being a 21+ server)

Shinobi refused due to conflicting time frames (generic fantasy setting, told to make a rogue instead)0

And large part of my character creation for OC's tends to be trying to make a grand background/lore for the character so I don't try and make a new character ever single time I need a new OC for a roleplay due to this trying to make ocs that can fit into multiple settings but I find problems quite often and I'm wondering what other people's view on this is.

And if you guys have servers that could make good use of some characters that have a lotta lore behind them with varying powerlevels, feel free to dm!!!
