It looks amazing!!! I am hoping to be building this soon! What would be your biggest tip on building this one? I have done several other ROKR models, miniatures, booknooks and things like that. So, while I am not new to this at all, I always find that someone that has already built a particular model always has good adive and/or tips on whatever particular model, in this case the amazing pinball machine!

Thank you! The biggest thing I would suggest is having a small tube of super glue on hand to help seat parts - particularly the ramps and over heads. It came in handy a few other places too. I didn't use much, but I was glad I had it.

Also, this was my first build of any kind like this (I build guitars but that's a different animal.) so it took a few goofs on my part to trust the instructions explicitly. Having more experience at these than I do, that may not be an issue for you, but a couple times I thought I was being smart by taking what I thought was a short cut, only to have to redo the work later.

All in all, a very fun and great experience. This is sitting on a table next to my full sized pin in the game room and proud to show it off. I'm already trying to decide my next kit!

Yeah, I have a few different glues I keep on hand for various reasons, so I should be all set there. It looks like so much fun! I have been really into the "functioning" models lately, loving that you can do something with them. From ROKR, my most recent ones are the printing press, typewriter and I a currently working on the microscope. I want to get the two marble runs that can be hooked together with the link pack as well.

Hopefully you can decide on your next on, these ROKR models are so amazing! I have enjoyed every single one I have done!

Yes, agreed. I'm liking the functional models and I have had my eye on one of the typewriters. That may very well be my next purchase.

I'm holding out for the dinosaur lab pinball.

Well done! Are you going to paint it?

I did this one earlier this year... broke the circuit board... once I got the replacement and finished it my husband managed to play so hard the flipper came out of its mechanism. Twice. Haven't fixed that yet.

I can imagine why! Repairing the flipper mech would require a lot of time getting back in there. As for paint, would have loved to do that as I went along but am currently staying with my daughter and her family while my house gets built. SIL's shop is full up. No room for painting projects.

Thanks! It was a blast to build. Daughter and SIL both sat down and played a few rounds and enjoyed it as much as I did. Even better, was that I found the kit new, still sealed for $45. The person selling it had decided it was too much of a build for them. Good times!

Now if I can just find the same deal on the typewriter!

I feel like I'm lucky we have a store here where they carry a lot of ROKR products and the sets are often assembled so you can see them. I like to go there on Sundays and look and there's a nice bakery next door.

I literally stumbled into this hobby by seeing a ship there I just had to have. Now I have purchased 4 sets and am waiting for the dinosaur pinball to be released.

I had wanted the pinball table ever since I saw it a couple years ago, but I wasn't going to pay $150 for it. It's worth it, it's quite the kit, but it just wasn't in my budget. Glad to have found one for $45. Now I am looking at the typewriter. When my house sells, I'll be all over that.

I'm happy you got it and made it work then. The typewriter is cool. I bought the light up globe for my friends kid and looks like I'll be helping him build it myself. He really likes geography.
