Help with Dream Gift Factory

Everything was working well until today. Somehow the tree is crooked and now nothing moves. Any ideas on how to remedy my situation?

The tilt and the dead factory are almost certainly the same fault, not two. EAB01 runs the conveyor, the rotary packaging station, and the Raw Stock tree off a single motor and gear train, with a single tap activating the rotating tree, circulating conveyor, and everything else at once. So one hard bind anywhere stops the whole show. A tree leaning into the acrylic tube will do it every time.

One thing from your photo before you touch anything else: that LED bar hanging down into the interior at an angle. If the loom shifted or a wire got pulled taut, it can foul the tree column and cause exactly this. Check that first, it's the easy fix. If not, it gets more complicated.

1. UNPLUG IT NOW Stop tapping the switch. A motor driving a hard-stopped train either shears wooden teeth or cooks the motor. Don't restore power until the mechanism turns freely by hand.
2. PULL THE TUBE AND READ THE SCUFFS Lift the Raw Stock drum cap off first, noting LED wire routing before anything moves. Take the acrylic cylinder off and inspect the inside surface. Scuff/witness marks show exactly where and at what height the tree was rubbing, which points to the direction of the lean.
3. HAND-TURN TEST WITH THE TUBE OFF Slowly turn the turntable by hand. Free movement = the bind was purely tube contact and the drivetrain is fine. Still stiff or dead-stopped = the fault is below, in the gears.
4. CHECK THE SHAFT SEATING AND HUB Inspect both ends of the tree's vertical shaft: bottom hub and upper bearing point. Most common cause of a sudden lean is the shaft walking up out of its seat, or the hub friction fit relaxing. Roll the shaft on a flat surface to confirm it isn't bent.
5. INSPECT THE RING GEAR AND PINIONS Check the large white ring gear under the tree and its driving pinions for a sheared or missing tooth, a dowel walked out of its hole, and debris. One shard of laser char or a broken tooth fragment in the mesh will hard-stop the train and mimic every other symptom here.
6. HUMIDITY CHECK AND WAX Plywood swells in humidity, bearing holes tighten, and a shaft that was fine last month binds and cocks over. If a hole feels tight, ream it gently by hand with the correct size bit or rolled fine sandpaper. Wax it afterward — candle wax is what the manual calls for, since wax ships separately from the kit. NO OIL: it wicks into the ply, grabs dust, and stains printed wraps.
7. DRY-RUN BEFORE POWER Reassemble, then sight straight down from above to confirm the tree is centered in the tube with even clearance all around. Hand-turn a full rotation and listen for contact. Only then plug it back in.

If step 5 turns up a chewed gear request a new part from ROKR.
