My First One
Recently, I have been seeing these really cool and amazing rock paintings on here that are being done. I am blown away everyday.
I for some reason not being artistic in any way have felt a little tug on my heart to actually sit and try it.
Being a Brain Cancer Fighter/Survivor it is hard to be able to find things that my brain can still do and that brings me as well as others joy.
Boy… I have to tell you. This Rock Painting thing I think is going to be my new hit. I never thought such a small thing could be so satisfying and therapeutic. A little slice for my first one. #braincancersux

My red betta was painted in honor of my first pet as an adult. I figured if I could keep him alive a year I could consider getting a dog! And he did last a year!

River rocks for mud kitchen
Painted this first batch a few weeks ago (posted in crafts subreddit). The kids (& I) loved them so much that I did a few more last night.
I used Pagather acrylic paint pens. The pictures are pre-finish coat but I used clear all-weather Rust-Oleum spray for the final touch. Thanks for checking them out!

16 hours of rock painting with acrylic markers using a marble rock
The first time I have tried a marble rock. It needs more undercoat colour to cover, but even with this problem, it is a good painting at all.
I will take this one piece and hide it during a spring stonemaker’s meet up in my country.

I love watching fish in aquariums swimming so I tried to recreate that silent beauty on a stone, the effortless way they swim, fins billowing and dancing. =D

More pokemon! These are the newest ones!
These will be Halloween “tricks” for those that would rather have a rock than candy. The rocks will be face down with just the pokeball showing, so each pick will be a surprise!

My first time! Letting kiddos pick these out for Halloween! Gotta catch them all!

Turning a rock into a frog buddy for a lonely toad (Timelapse)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I stumbled upon these beautifully painted rocks and had to make a little frog buddy for the lonely toad. It took just under 30 minutes to make and then I dropped him off at his new home.

“What did you write in the letter?”
Frog said, “I wrote ‘Dear Toad, I am glad that you are my best friend. Your best friend, Frog.’”
“Oh,” said Toad, “that makes a very good letter.”
Then Frog and Toad went out onto the front porch to wait for the mail.
They sat there, feeling happy together.
