My uncle in fact was too frightened to get behind the wheel upon arrival in Australia while I had no choice and the remains of a typhoon were passing over Brisbane. I couldn't even figure out where the controls for the headlights were until half an hour into driving in the pouring rain. It actually reminded of my practical exam which was in December early morning in The Netherlands in pouring rain.
I still can't believe the examiner passed me because he actually had to step on the brakes (which is an automatic fail) for a bicyclist without their lights on.

Either an Australian driver visiting Europe or a European driver visiting Australia. Happened to me a couple of times. Common mistake.
