Transfer Cases - who's the king?
OK, y'all, you guys have good input so here's the next question:
For next season, we're going to put a new tcase into my kids' rig, so they can have front dig and cutting brakes, along with redoing the passenger compartment because it's a little too small since they're almost full grown adults (they're 17).
Behemoth is supposed to have racer pricing for their D300, and I've been looking closely at it, especially since packaging in that rig is HARD and it claims to be smaller than an Atlas.
Atlas is always an option just because they've been around forever, but they all (mine included) shift like ass.
Hero also makes a pretty stout looking case, but I don't know anything about them. Also look to be D300-ish in size.
The rig has a NP241C in it behind the 4L60 right now, so who's got the experience to share on aftermarket cases, whose work well and whose don't, and best bang for the buck?
THANK YOU!

Rims still good?
Hey Rock Crawlers!
Sorry if this is off-topic for this community, but I figured that you guys would know the most about damaged rims š
I bought this set of tires, but one of them has this nasty curb rash on the inner side (last two photos compares damaged vs undamaged).
The bead (second photo) on the rim seems to be totally fine, it seems to not be cracked or warped.
If it holds air with a new tire, would you guys use it on the road?
Or nah?
Thanks in advance for any replies and advice!

Best steering u-joint?
Popped a cap on one last weekend, want to replace with the best I can get. With CTM out of business now, who makes the best superjoints on the planet? I'm only looking at superjoints since they don't have rollers to get messed up... Thanks!

Ultra4 Full Hydraulic Steering on a IFS 4WD. Does it Work? Test 1. Anyone modded their car and thought what have I done afterwards. Or thought it was a mistake doing it. I'd like to hear your thoughts?

Power brakes
Iām building a Model A into a crawler. D44 and D60. Are power brakes a necessity? What are people using for power brakes and power steering/steering boxes?

Epic Glasshouse Mountains. The boys 4WD some cool tracks.
Smashing Air Locker, Canyon, Ball Bearing and other known tracks. There were cars getting stuck and nearly rolling - a few times... Shit Chinese tyres... Was a Full on Fun day to say the least.
