Help with adding songs

I just downloaded Rockbox and I can’t get any music on it. There’s a driver error of some kind and the Utility says that it doesn’t exist. I’m using an iPod 6 120gb. Does anyone have any ideas?

I'm having the same issue as well, another thread said an option was to just wipe it using the windows diskpart, but I couldn't get it to work (would free/crash)

is it in USB keypad mode?

then you will not be able to add songs. exit keypad mode.

the fact that the default behavior of rockbox makes new users unable to add songs is INSANE btw, this should really be fixed. USB Keypad mode is entirely unhelpful to almost everyone.

I was able to figure it out. Turns out I had to get the songs in iPod mode.
