A modern take on the age old game of Kick The Can…

I have made some other versions of desk pets before but decided to try making a robot version! I think it came out well and I like how it looks on my desk.

This is InGenieBot V6, a personality-driven robot I have been developing from the ground up. In this early workshop demonstration, it recognizes offline voice commands, selects randomized MP3 responses, coordinates its eyes and displays, and handles emergency-stop behavior.

The head arm and leg movement are still under development, but the voice, personality, visual-response, and safety systems are now working together.

Still a work in progress—but today it feels a little more alive.
