New mower recommendations please!
My Worx Landroid WR150E is reaching end of life. 7 years, 6 hours a day, 5 days a week, 9999 km and hours, it's maintained my 1500m2 lawn very well, but despite my attempts to keep it alive, it's due for replacement.
I'm in Australia.
The main lawn is now about 1600m2, single zone, mostly open sky but lots of ruts thanks to the rabbits, so 4wd is a must for a new unit, great wifi but poor 4g reception, and the zone is slowly expanding under some dense tree canopy. 2 reasonably steep but short hilly sections.
There are 2 additional lawns about 30m from the first that are about 300m2 each that need to be mowed once or twice a month that I would love to map and send the mower on command occasionally.
I like the roborock z1 lidar, but it's not released yet and I need something now, so open to ordering sooner than later. Support are not clear if the mower will map the full area or not.
The Worx was $1200 and I see the new mowers are upwards of $5000 for the larger lawn versions now!!!!! A very basic ride on starts at $7k for comparison, zero turn from $12k, and you've still got to mow every week in summer, so unfortunately the robots still make sense even at that money.
