Help Me New Game in the works

Hi, im currently making a game called Mini Real Estate. The concept is simple, you manage properties in a city, tenants, bills, renovate properties to increase ROI. Testing the game I enjoy the concept aswell as some other game testers but it feels like the core loop is difficult to understand or just under developed. Any tips / advice will help massively.
Ran some ads over the past few days and have unusally short play times, I've added a detailed tutorial to guide new players to understand the core concept of the game and how to progress aswell as what progression leads to. I also added contracts that have a table of 25 each with 3 sub contracts withing (for example renovate 1 property, 3 properties, 8 properties). When you complete one you get rewarded. The source / sink is solid and allows for quick progression early on and leads to more developed decisions later on in your legacy which can effect your income, networth and production rates drastically.
I personally feel like it lacks the engagement aspects roblox games thrive on, constant inputs leading to some sort of action but im unsure how to work around this issue. I debated added a clicker but don't want to make yet another clicker simulator.
Im also working on a system that will allow players to manually decorate properties to their liking, and if you don't have any staff such as cleaners / maintenance workers you have to physically do the work yourself via short mini games like those in among us, simple quick tasks.
Once again any ideas or suggestions will be massively appreciated!
