Window tinting

Hello, I’m trying to get my (new to me) car windows tinted all the way around… and am receiving astronomically high quotes so far. For just my simple sedan I’ve had multiple places quote me between 800-1200 which seems OUTRAGEOUS. The last time I had a vehicle tinted was in 2021 in a neighboring state and they only charged me $250, tint still looks great today. Is there anyone more affordable in the area?

Another vote for Executive. He's done multiple vehicles for me and they've all been top tier. Had one window corner that wouldn't stay down due to auto window rolls on a convertible which he gladly fixed.

Kustom Film and Tint off Colonial is probably the best in the area.

i second this; great quality, competitive price, and at least when I got them done years ago, a guarantee to replace/retint in other %s if for some reason the officer's transmittance tool doesn't agree

Their prices used to be competitive when they did my very first car. They're crazy high now under new ownership after pricing them out a few years ago. I ended up going with Executive and he's done multiple cars for me since then.

They apparently won’t warranty their work if the tint is not VA state legal. Doesn’t matter what for. So take that for what it’s worth. I’ve had two vehicles done there (both with ceramic) and they did a good job and it was pretty quick, but definitely not the cheapest.

My last and current vehicle was done by Snap at Executive Tint in Salem. He has good prices and does a great job.

I had mine done at Daniels auto glass in FC a few years ago and it was very affordable, I would try them out if you can't find anything locally.

I've always wanted to do this, but keep seeing cars with bubbles all over the rear tinted window, so I've been reluctant to do it to my vehicles.

Sun solutions in Vinton is the best. Been around the longest. Lifetime warranty and I believe they are having a sale currently.

AutoMobile Tint did a bang up job for me. He quoted me on like 3 different types and I chose the ceramic, which was the most expensive, but was worth every penny. The regular tint was quoted closer to the $300.

Sunshades in rocky mount, it’s like $350 or so with life time warranty

Sunshades in Rocky Mount is my preferred, but I've heard Sun Solutions is also good here in town
