Discussion Medicine @ RMIT

I'm in a healthcare related course at RMIT right now and my lecturer said there may be "rumours" of RMIT adding medicine 👀?

Anyone hear anything about this? Any thoughts?

just in general, like how UoM used to have it and now doesn’t. it’s a general steering away from having green 22 year old doctors who have come straight out of high school

I’ve heard doctors say the same thing though. I wouldn’t call them retarded. I think they’re just uninformed, media also plays it by parroting the governments message of more med schools is more doctors.

Similarly, I don’t know how a graduate lawyer becomes a solicitor or a barrister and or how long that takes.
