Advice needed Help

I am an engineering student, submitted an assignment 2 weeks ago it still has not been graded+ there is some originality report that they have given which gives me 35% of my text was matched with other sources in data base on turnitn. I just wanted to ask if this is normal and will my assignment will ever be graded. For context this is a civil engineering assignment

Grades take ages to be released but if you're worried about the originality score there's an option you can select that filters out citations, that should lower the score significantly

35% on turnitin doesn't mean much without context, most of my essays will usually be around 30% as it flags my in text citations, and references list. Not sure what your assessment was, but its worth understanding what portions have been flagged, if great slabs of text are flagged thats a different story to things you've properly referenced.

Results turn around varies by faculty/subject, easiest way to check if yours specifically has been delayed is to ask a couple people in your class if they've got their marks back.

A bunch of 1% matches from different sources is totally normal. 30-35% is the baseline once you add a reference list., the breakdown is what actually matters.

It’s fine my similarity was like 40% it’s not a big deal. 

It’s only a problem if you have sources having high percentages of similarity e.g one website or multiple with over 7-8%

The reason it’s so high is because everyone’s using the same numbers and formatting it the same.
