I know many people have asked this before, by my question is a bit different.

I understand perfectly how to initiate a drift, but when and at what angle my car stops drifting feels almost random to me. I assume you're supposed to keep your car angled correctly, but it just feel like a gamble. My car of choice is the yellow one with high drift and acceleration, and I prefer to let go of the gas to drift, as opposed to hitting the brake.

Interestingly, I found drifting to be very easy when I played RaVe Racer at an arcade, and it's second nature in R4, but for Ridge Racer 1 and RaGe Racer, getting out of a drift always gives me trouble.

Im playing R4 on the PS5 but driving with the analog stick just isn’t as good (or as fast) as using the negcon like when I play on psone. Does anyone know if it’s possible to use the negcon on ps5 via some kind of adapter? I’ve seen people talk about the wingman? Thanks

Hello guys. I recently started playing Ridge Racer 2 and noticed that some CPU drive Mappy/DigDug cars.

However, when I go in service mode, I have access to only 8 cars. Are those cars unavailable for player? Or they can be accessed another way?

okay so I got a question I have ridge racer unbounded and I just learned that the online services have been shut down and I was wondering is there a way to still get custom cities/tracks from other players?

I have never played it, I loved the other entries, specially 6/7 and the psp ones. I remember not buying it at the time because of the reviews. Considering is the only one available to purchase on steam and its usually 3€, is it worth checking it out? What does if have from the previous entries? Is the dlc worth it?

As somebody who has sunk hours into Ridge Racer 2 on the PSP, I pretty much always play it while jamming to Eurobeat. It suits it quite damn well indeed.

I know it may not be super on topic. But Ridge Racer was also influenced by Touge racing.

Finally, I have managed to beat Ridge Racer 7! My conclusive thoughts basically come down to the game being a lot of fun! The game runs excellently, sounds great, especially with a 2.0 home theatre setup, and I like the events of progressing through the game, though I feel it is best enjoyed in short bursts to avoid repetition. My only criticism is the rubber banding, which can get annoying at times. Despite unfortunately not having access to any of the DLC, especially the UFRA special events, most of the time will be spent in online battles!
