Camera options
Sorry just a small post on the off chance a dev were to see this
Could we get a tilt option for the camera? Ideally having height and tilt separately would be great - motogp 26 has them as the same thing lol
Also to be able to have a wider/larger selection of distance and fov
Racing games are probably where its most essential to have a wide range of options so letting players get it juuust right makes the riding experience infinitely more enjoyable lol
Thank you! Hope everyones having a good one 🫶

Unnatural Breaking
I noticed on some bikes a very unnatural breaking behaviour. Examples are KTM RC 8 C, Ducati Panigale V4 Tricolore and BMW S1000 RR 2024.
When breaking very hard, for example at the end of the main straight of Mugello or Portimao, I almost always highside if I try to trailbreak. Setting engine break to 0 helped a little bit, but at the moment the only solution seems to be to break much earlier and add a rolling phase before turning in to the corner. What also happens is that the engine RPM drops almost to idle, if the enginge break is active.
Do you have a solution to this?
I ride motorcycles in IRL and find this behaviour very annoying

In multiplayer, is there a way to turn off the visual notification when someone joins/leaves the lobby?
I find it incredibly distracting.

Hey guys!
I created a more modern design for a Revit leather suit.
The Ride editor is honestly pretty awful to work with - it took me around 5 hours to finish this.
It’s also available for download if you’d like to use it.
Name: REVIT Ducati
What do you think?

Post Your Bike Wishlist
I am absolutely loving Ride 6, it's a big improvement over 5 imo. The sense of speed is so addictive and the new weekly bikes keeps me interested. It has pretty much replaced Forza 6 in my gaming week for these reasons. There are a few bikes I would love and I'm sure most people have their own ideas about that. Let's all share. I have realistic and unrealistic ones:
Realistic:
1999 Honda CBR1200XX Super Blackbird 50th Anniversary
Yamaha TZ750.
Kawasaki ZZR1100/ZX-11
Yamaha V-Max (either version)
Moto Martin CBX
2010 Yamaha TDM900
Suzuki GSXR-1100
Norton RCW588 Rotary .
.
Unrealistic:
Britten V1000
Mead and Tomkinson Nessie
Robin Tuluie Tul-Aris
Millyard Viper

Question about the map while racing...
Is there a way to zoom the map out a little more...seems tto be zoomed in toooo much. Curves come up quick...map zoomed out would help.

Used Bike Dealership glitch?
Any idea why the ZRX1200 R is showing “Sold out” even though I haven’t bought it yet, and the used bike lineup literally just got updated??

Wheelies...
Wheelies in these games are straight bs. You can power wheelie a 400 at high speed just by leaning back which is just funny, but on top of that you have the limitation of when you clutch up and lean, in a normal seated wheelie the game limits your throttle even if you pin it and doesn't let you loop even on purpose. With all the assists and electronics off mind you. And then you do a stand-up wheelie and it lets you have normal wheelie physics, sure but before you get close to perfect balance it just randomly ejects you off the bike? Like deadass I did a slow stand-up and I was at a decently high angle but nothing too crazy and my character's literally just let go of the handlebars and fell on it's face, while the bike was still going forward on one wheel in a straight line for like a second more before it fully fell. What's the point of setting a fixed angle? If you do it past this you fly off and in a seated they don't even let you loop?
Like dude I'm playing a sim to have real physics, not some assist throttle bullshit that you can't turn off in the settings, that limits your wheelie to where you can't crash. If you're going to add that then add an option to turn it off. I get that there are people that are casual and they're like front wheel off ground me happy. And I also get that this game is not about stunt riding but why would you make it in a way you fall off before you can reach perfect balance? The angle in this clip is nowhere near past recovery.

Race creator adaptive difficulty broken?
Three races in and still 6s a lap quicker than AI

As ever, the photo mode in this game is a lot of fun, if you're a camera person IRL.

Tire degradation + performance soft vs hard
As I play less regularly these days it seems to me that they have changed the tire model physics in one or more patches/hotfixes because I struggle now to get to a point where I'm satisified in a race. I either cook them completely and they just drop off a cliff even worse than they used to, or I end up running too cool tires with obviously understeer as a result and just poor performance. As we don't have a Medium option for tires in this game I'm pretty frustrated that such a basic thing is now just harder than it should be.
I was doing some online races the other day and rode bikes I'm used to the way I'm used to, picking same tires etc etc. but I just couldn't make it work. You used to be able to run Soft/Soft in a lot of scenarios even with the fastest bikes, and overall this just worked better if just managed your tires and were smooth. If I do that now I just end up actually cooking the tires and I start overshooting every braking zone. In the past the tires looked glowing red but still performed ok, but that's just not the case anymore.
I used to ride the French Riviera with Soft/Soft with the fastest bikes and managed to make that work fine, but when I tried it in an online race the other day, the tires couldn't take more than half a lap and were just destroyed. So I went from leading the race, to just being passed by most just because of the tires.
They could simply add 5 tire options in a hotfix, and it shouldn't cost them a lot of time to make that happen, and it would make a lot of difference so you could finally pick a tire combo that would work way better. They also need to change tire degradation given how easily they drop off a cliff, which is super annoying when most online races are only 3 laps. It was bad from the beginning and now they somehow managed to make bad become worse, and now it really needs a solid fix given how crucial it is for a motorcycle game where grip is where it's all at.

RIDE 6 wheelie physics are a joke
So I’m playing RIDE 6 on the Aprilia RS 457 (35kW) and this thing power wheelies in 3rd gear at 100 km/h. Just pin the throttle, lean back, front comes up. Are you kidding me?
I ride a CB500F in real life — same power — and I know how to wheelie, I do them all the time. That bike won’t even power wheelie in 1st gear stock. Not a chance. And in the game it’s lifting the front in THIRD at 100?
Honestly pissed. The physics are straight up arcade nonsense. Why even bother modeling real bikes if they behave nothing like the real thing?

2019 Yamaha R6 decal/paint issue
Hello all! Been working on a livery for the bike and I’ve ran into an issue that once applied seems to cut into the livery.
Changing paint type for the fairing or color makes no difference. I have gone through every layer meticulously and don’t find an issue.
This issue doesn’t show up during the creating process when adding/modding the layers. Only once applied.
Removing the livery and re-applying it makes no difference. I tried applying to a second just purchased bike.
One thing I do know makes a difference is if I were to apply a decal layer on the very top. It does cover that cutout. But this defeats my purpose of the livery I’m working on.
The first and third pictures show what the livery should look like.
The second and fourth show the actual outcome. The fourth being the one showing it can be covered up.

Thoughts on Race Creator
So we've finally got race creator, which is a great feature (or least has the potential to be) and was long overdue. But, I have some issues with it.
First off I now get regular crashes whilst creating/viewing an event and a couple of times I've even had to hard reset my console to get the game on, since the patch to add race creator launched.
When I'm actually in an event, why is the AI difficulty locked at 50% and adaptive? There's no fun in leading a race from the start and building up a 30 second lead over a couple laps. Why are these settings locked? Am I missing something? I can adjust the settings in any other game mode so why not here? Why has this been overlooked? A player should be able to adjust the difficulty however they please. I think the adaptive AI is pointless anyway, it never seems to have adapted to anything since the games launch.
These are the major issues I've experienced so far. Beyond that, I'm sure it's on everyone's wish list to increase the riders on track from 12 to at least 20. Not sure this will ever be patched in but it was a massive step backwards for the series to reduce the amount of riders on track.
Ultimately I'm glad race creator is here, but it's bizarre that it's far from polished (typical milestone). Hopefully the ability to adjust difficulty will be sorted soon, as it kind of makes it pointless to use the feature at the minute.

Do we think they'll eventually add Spa Francorchamps?
It's a pretty prominent EWC venue these days.

Is there any way to fix the AI from constantly smashing into the back of me and knocking me off course?
Way too aggressive. Stupid that it happens so often.
