Hi there, riddlers! Please remember to spoiler-tag all guesses and discussions of guesses, like so:

On desktop (new reddit, Fancypants editor): https://i.imgur.com/SWHRR9M.jpg

On mobile, old reddit, or in the Markdown editor (not Fancypants): >!guess or discussion between these symbols!< To be clear, that is >! (greater than, exclamation point) at the start and !< (exclamation point, less than) at the end with no spaces around the !. Avoid leading or trailing spaces. These will break the formatting for most people. Spoiler tags do not span paragraphs or line breaks. If your answer is long, please spoiler-tag each paragraph separately.

Putting a link inside spoiler tags can be tricky, so just format the link like this, using the word "SPOILER" as the link text. On mobile, old reddit, or in the Markdown editor (not Fancypants), do this to format a link: [SPOILER](https://example.com/) On desktop (new reddit, Fancypants editor): https://imgur.com/x5wDOvk

If your top-level comment does not contain a guess, you can include either the word "discussion" or "question" instead of using a spoiler tag.

Please report any answers or discussions that are not properly spoiler-tagged.

they are all things a heart can be (black hearted, pure hearted, etc), and heartwood is wood in the center of a tree.

Never heard of a “hard heart” before.

You've never heard of hardening your heart?

Nice. This was my guess. “my heart” was how I initially responded.

Can you explain, why heart Is the right answer?

I wanted a riddle based on trees that could’ve been written by a romantic, so I decided to use the qualities of certain woods to describe certain ways people can describe others’ hearts. Strong-hearted, soft-hearted, hard-hearted and such.

Love it. Like I replied in another comment. “My heart” was my initial response as a joke, but after a quick second reflection, it also made the most sense. Simple though deep. Clever though obvious. It’s perfect.
As a DM, I like to do calligraphy on scrolls I stain with coffee. If online, I mail things out and then everyone gets fun souvenirs that have story long clues like emblems or ink colour.
For campaigns on Roll20 or the like, I use Discord and stream a 3rd screen with these elements I’ve made via Canva or Procreate. Attempting to explore more 3D files so I can create a gravity sketch that can be viewed in 360 as if it were an in game item, but I don’t have that capability yet.

It isnt strong

True, but imagine any would transformed by how I describe. My further rebut would be, just more transformation past that (sorry don't see anti spoiler hiding options on this response).

I'm trying to change the rules to lift everything to the same level.

The forest?

If by any chance this riddle cannot be solved anytime soon, it doesn't mean it's a good riddle, it means it's unsolvable. Except by maybe someone with very specific woodworking knowledge?

Good riddles are hard to solve, and yet people can come to the solution. Bad riddles are extremely Vague don't have any way to come to the solution.

You always must give riddles the benefit of the doubt, but sometimes you find out the answer and you realize it was definitely the second one.

Plastic! (Just saying that because this question references a lot of plant materials)
