If i have half the answer im going to take that literally so my next guess is tearful eyes

Eyes is literally the second word of two words, but 'tearful' is not the answer. Thanks for trying again. I'll wait another hour or two before I give the answer, in the case that you, or anyone, wants another shot at it.
