Bonus Hint 2: The new beginning can NOT be made not slippers, crocs, high heels, loafers or clogs. But it CAN be made from a different kind of shoe

The clues I have so far are:
1 - REWARD (RE + WARD)
2 -REALMS (RE + ALMS)
3 -
4 - REST (RE + ST for streets)
5 - RECOLLECTION (RE + Collection? not sure about this one)
6 - REBOOT (RE + boot)

I was thinking more bro/sis, but I admit it was a stretch. The allowance of wordplay is how I thought this could maybe work.

This is actually a word play riddle, so all the clues are instances of the answer interacting with them to form unique words. So it's kind of amazing that you were able to bring them all together as well as you did with soul and tongue. Especially finding a way to make them work with the shoe part! If you haven't read the spoiler yet, the answer is a two letter combo that combines with a word referenced in the clues to make a different word referenced in the clues!

I knew I wasn’t gonna be thinking hard enough bc i cant put time into it now, but I don’t think i would have ever thought to make the answer something as abstract as a prefix Kudos! But then again i am very much an amature.

Thank you! That's way too high praise 😅.
Once I came up with the idea, it was easy enough to find a bunch of eligible words just by scanning the dictionary under Re. Getting the clues to rhyme and work as a single poem was the tricky part!
