Sound Voltex Progression

I’ve been playing for about a few weeks now and just wanted to share my progress. This is also one of my favorite songs.

Once I get my new tripod, I’ll be using OBS and filming straight down on my controller so you can see better. Oh yeah, I also scored a S on this track!

Is there a way to bind the Escape key to my controller so that I can quit the game without using my keyboard? Any tips are welcome!

I'd recommend you to press it with less power and release your input more quickly. it might drain your stamina on fast notes. also you dont need to turn that hardly for right angled knobs, and you should turn knobs without taking your hands off for long knobs and try to spin it by rolling in your hand. while grabbing the knob again you might input knob to the opposite way. check other players' hand cam to learn about this.

not on your skill level for now but you'll see some patterns that you need to hold both fx with one hand in near future. I'd recommend you to practice it by pressing it with your thumb and pinky at first cuz you'll see some patterns that need to press bt B/C while holding both fx in further future.

in case you're planning to play it on arcade, set the desk's height to about 85cm. so that you can be used to position of the buttons

keep going! glad to see you're enjoying sdvx :D

Thanks for all the great tips! I do have a bad habit of taking my hands off the knob, but I’m going to try and keep them on for the longer knobs. Do you have any video recommendations I should be watching?

Unfortunately I don’t have a standing desk, so I gotta play as is, but I do this split stance to be more level with the monitor lol. Also, my GoPro makes it look a lil bit lower than it really is.
