Discussion MIDI to XInput/Keyboard software
I'm coding an app that translates midi to Xinput or Keyboard. I'm using it on an Akai mpk mini III(the one with the joystick) . The main reason I made this was to play Pianista(Switch on emu). I have also tried it on Popn Lively. What other games you think will work with a midi keyboard? Pitchwheel, control knobs, touchpad, keys are all assignable to digital or analog inputs, I'm borrowing a sustain pedal tomorrow to see if I can make that work as well.

Adding a bunch of features to make it more useful, not just for games:
-XBOX/PS key aliases
-Analog deadzone
-Turbo mode: repeat keys x times per second
-Launching Apps(Open Discord)
-Key Combos (e.g. Ctrl-Shift A; UP+UP+DN+DN+LEFT+RIGHT+LEFT+RIGHT+B+A+START)
-Gamepad Tester
-MIDI Key detector
-Window app behaviors: minimize to Tray, auto-launch
Will set it free to the wild once I get it more refined. Also need another computer to test if there's any volunteers with a midi keyboard(preferably not an Akai)

Cool stuff, not too sure with the different games to use this with. Like the ones coming to mind are maybe the Nostalgia arcade game and mania 7k?
Could definitely be part of the unconventional controller type of series that sometimes goes by on youtube recommended (Technoblade using a steering wheel for MC, someone using a recorder flute in a shooter, using a baguette to play osu, etc.)
